My best advice on acquiring the pollen: be patient. Go up around orc hill and along the little paths nearby. Kill all the wildlife (widows, bats, basiliks) and arboreans. Sooner or later, you'll see the warriors and one will drop the pollen. If you're around level 10-13, you'll get experience from killing a lot of these mobs, so you can always say you got xp while you waited for those blasted wasps to show up.
Got one

Got one GFay over by Orc Hill somewhere...after about 2 or 3 Warriors, finally got the Pollen to drop...and to find out its a NO DROP item.. :P Kinda sucks at the time cause I was using one of my alts to get it. Oh well...must try again the hard way. :)

rare, rare, rare

I killed these warrior wasps for days, and I still have not seen a pollen drop from them. The only place i seem to run across them is on orc hill just above Kelethin.

I've spent considerable time (2-3 days) and made 2 levels with my little enchanter doing this. I've probably killed 30 of them and to date, NO DROP! If you have the patience and a decent pet, you're going to have to camp and HUNT the entire area. It's VERY frustrating, but the conversation is enough to keep me from hitting the PC with chaotic feedback.
GOOD LUCK, you're going to need it.

*** After a bit of work on this ***

I did not get the pollen however, Just south of the Orc hill, these *DO* spawn. the closest spawn points I could get are

1424.90 357.97 -33.05 / 1619.74 212.52 -33.16 / 1649.05 8.36 -33.989

if you go south of Orc hill you can run east/west just like the one post says. Everything from Mature Aboreans, Widow Matriachs, giant bats... all the mature mobs for the newb armor spawn here. Even the Baslisk Hatchlings.

I was able to (for the first time) even see one. And kill about 6-8 before I had to go to bed. You know so many people ask for spawn points, well, they move once they spawn anyways. I dont think they spawn like that anyways. it would be point 1, then 2, then 3 then a wasp... point 1,2,3 wasp... and anyone one of those COULD be a wasp it seemed. Usualy an Aborean or a spider though.
