ok Condemnation is the only Nuke these work on, but what about other spell? does the effect work with buffs and heals as well, and if so does this work on CH?

My cleric is lvl 55 and recently purchased all the needed items, re: Tanaan Smithing Hammer, Ethereal Metal Rings, The Ornate Gauntlet Mold, Cleric Emblem and the Mystical furnace of Ro. I read somewhere else in this forum that all you had to be was lvl 55 to make this stuff, but that is just not true... My lvl 65 Ranger (me) had no problem. Is there a certain level to attain before the combine will work?

Thanks

Yes, it works at 55 with no flags, or 46 with tier 3 flags. Try using Ethereal Sheets of Metal, not rings. This is plate armor, your ranger wears chain.

Shaft

SO, what this means is... Cleric's get shafted again! First in AA, and now in Ornate effects! Look at the armor effects of other classes. You'll see what I mean.

Why is this getting shafted. I like the effects on the ornate.

The only piece I don't see as worth it (if you are buying), is the BP.

The boots, bracers, and arms are MUST haves, unless you have a better effect. The greaves were sweet, until they broke pets, and will be sweet again once they get the pets fixed. These gloves are not as critical, but are still pretty nice. I often find myself FM during LDoNs, and like to toss a nuke or two. These gloves save an extra 36 mana per cast, over what I would have saved with just the MP4.

Look at the SK armor effects, then decide if we really were the ones who got shafted.
lvl 55 is all that is needed now

after the patch you don't have to have any flags you only have to be lvl 55 and have the mold, the sheets, the tanaan hammer, and 500 pp and you can wear all ornate armor.

Yes the effect was changed to work with the condemnation dd

Could someone explain, as if to a child, exactly what the effect does? Thanks.

The effect reduces mana cost on the 62 spell Condemnation by 20%

I have read other posts stating it affects other nukes as well but found that not to be true. I tested Wrath, Retribution, Reckoning, Judgement and Condemnation with the latter being the only one that prompted the message: Your Gauntlets of Vengeful Fury flickers with a pale light. The other 4 would only trigger my Boots of Vengeful Fury (mana pres IV) however, when Condemnation was cast the boots had no effect meaning it will NOT stack with mana pres IV.
Hope this helps clear some things up 8)

The reason this is confusing is, the effect has been changed. The OLD effect was one that affected wrath ONLY. Once the developers realize that was a really stupid effect for lvl 60 armor, they changed it to the current effect.

Effect was changed from what the pic shows to what is listed. Condemnation of Time
aggro

lower level nukes generate less aggro, whether focused or not. a nice effect IMO
hammer
# Dec 30 2002 at 2:19 PM Rating: Decent
the 6 second recast time on wrath is what really kills this item. 426/145 is great for a cleric, but really, with the summoned hammer I can do about the same damage and it takes no mana.

The focus effect....
# Dec 27 2002 at 8:25 PM Rating: Good
....makes the lvl 29 Cleric nuke "Wrath" do 2 times as much dmg. It costs 145 mana, and usually does 218 dmg max (once you reach lvl 39), so it'd do 436 dmg. So basically this upgrades Wrath to a fast small nuke for clerics. Has very nearly the same mana/dmg ratio as our highest lvl nukes. Isn't that spiffy...
RE: The focus effect....
# Dec 29 2002 at 11:24 PM Rating: Good
Actually it does 2x damage on wrath AT BEST.

Much like Improved Damage focus, the benefit is actually random *up to* 100% extra damage.

I like the wis/hp/mana on them though, I instantly destroyed my SS gaunts when I got these.

At least they dont summon food. Heh.

If it would instead increase all Cleric Nukes by 15-25%, I think it would be more worthwhile.

As it stands, I think tank classes would be better off with the molds.

goofy...and I dunno I'd use the words fast, nuke, and cleric in the same sentence unless you're talking about needing to kill a complete healing mob quickly.
