after the patch you don't have to have any flags you only have to be lvl 55 and have the mold, the sheets, the tanaan hammer, and 500 pp and you can wear all ornate armor.
Actually I could care less if it does not affect complete heal. The number of times I have had to heal a melee for more then 7500hp is once and that was a charmed pet in BoT (go figure). I mem a heal over time but that is only because I don't have my lvl 63 heal yet. Frankly 20% bonus to your fast heals is sheer incredible since you generally use them to patch heal or keep a non melee from being smeared over the landscape by an unslowed mob. HoT are not good for this in PoP lvl(they ok if mob is slowed). Also realize this affects your group heals as well. At 64th we get a very nice 2500hp group heal which also cures 14 poison and disease as well as 7 curse counters. With improved heal 4 that spell is now healing everyone in group for 3000. Pretty dang nice.
That leaves spells like ethereal light, and ethereal remedy, the small fast heals. While that's a nice effect, its not quite as "uber'as it appears at first glance.
Mind you, they're all around nice vambraces anyway, and the effect is nice.
Actually you would be using Supernal Light and Supernal Remedy if you were the lvl to obtain these. The truth be told these are not all that good minus the Focus effect for the difficulty to obtain them. Its not hard to kill the mob that drops these it more difficult to make the mob drop them once hes dead.
If anyone knows exactly what mobs drop the molds for these could ya plz list them, kthx.
Plus, of course, any of the MOBs in the Tower of Solusek Ro, "Ornate Armors R Us".
I agree about its relatively low value outside of the focus when you can get them - I dithered about it a long time before spending a few RPPs on this. I already had an IH4 item I would swap to whenever fighting really tough, 1-group MOBs or bosses that require quick heals (Polished Smoothmetal Torque), but missing out on an FT2 helm I usually wear was a pain.
