Nice Poker

I have to say this is the best weapon in my inventory, any time I need to do dmg, I bust out my pitchfork. I was lucky, some members of the strongest guild on my server (Smiley: bowdownHarmonium of Xev) were playing around in kael after one of their planar raids, and they were being nice to my guild raiding the kael arena and they decided to hand out this weapon, being the only sk/pally I got me a good weapon Smiley: smile

Of course the sad thing about this is, if they just gave it up, that means that at the point where this thing drops, you should have something better, but until I can even get in a planar group... this will work for me Smiley: yippee
Is this nice or not?

This something that a 53+ SK/Pally will use, or is it just a novelty item? Would appreciate the viewpoints of experienced players of those classes because i have only played my SK to 26.

I did some searching in the weaps database, and the pitchfork has a very nice ratio compared to other droppable weaps for these classes, but i know there are other considerations im missing for these 2 classes.

Thanks for any info. Am currently planning on trading it for something my warrior can use. give me an idea of what a good trade would be :)

This justifies my decision to go 2HP from the start with my pally, i got a centi warspear for lvl 1-20 a crafted velium warlance for 20-55 and was going to pick up a Naladni's lance for 55+ but since this was availible for 17k on Druzzil i grabbed one and when i get to 53 boy oh boy will i be rocking ). i think i will still get the lance for grouping but as a solo weapon this rocks!

Jarkeld Hammerhiem <darkstorm Dragons>
Druzzil Ro
pally of the 41st sphere

your mind is like a parachute it only works when it's open

oh and for those who think that pally's can't solo sorry but we can if you know how :) since my mentor's pally is 62 and still doing it ) i often have no choise but to solo due to playing in GMT and all the yanks are in bed or at work

aye this is very nice item to use... most pallies i know without epic use Argent Protector for 2hs 42/49 10AC/STR/WIS/INT or for 1hs a Goo Covered Knights Blade 17/22 5WIS/INT, usually the 2hs wuill hit for about 200 and Goo blade for 50-70s, me as a ranger used the wyrm/vel swiftblade and hit for 100's with this 1 more damage and a lot faster i can see 100'2 to 120's easly... so YES this is a sweet weapon.. something u wouldent ahve rotting in the bank..:)

This is an awesome weapon. My main, a 53 ShadowKnight, can hold aggro like no other using this. When I started using it, my piercing skill was only 1, at the moment, from extensive use, it is 197, and I notice a significant amout of increase in my damage over time. My old main weapon, the Argent Protector, would often hit for 30-180 every 10 seconds or so, sometimes hitting twice (taking into consideration a Flowing Black Silk Sash). This weapon hits for 13-120 every 3 seconds or so, usually hitting twice (not sure if its just luck on double attack). The damage makes this an amazing weapon when trying to hold aggro, and beautiful when soloing. I do not reccommend taunting or using excessive spells while weilding this unless you are the main tank, because other classes cannot seem to keep up. I was with a level 60 warrior, and his taunts/attacks (1HS and 1HB) versus just my attacks and a few spells (Dooming Darkness, Spear of Pain), and it was I who took the full brunt of most attacks.

My opinion, this may be the greatest "non-procing" SK weapon in the entire game. Specifically for loners, and masochists.
