We got one from Quazlith in Sol Ro today, on our way up to the Protector of Dresolik.

Tanking Tier 2+ mobs with dual wield is tatamount to suicide not only for enrage (which can kill you rapidly if you catch a lag spike) but also because of the innate mob ripostes during combat...these add up to alot of unneeded damage over the span of a fight.
Many high end warriors are using 2 handers now because of this...its too bad an EB 2 hander (other than Mith Mars) is unavailable in tier 3.

If you are a melee using 1hders in time you are pretty much asking to die from ritapose.
guess that makes DBoTW / EoE combos useless /rolls eyes.

to detail, no it dones not click cast, it is a proc yes, low aggro procs like a normal amount of times, Higher than some dps which when added togeather i have tanked major mobs with it and kept aggro fine with other raid spells.....

As i now wake up out of my dazz and look at the picture I see it says combat =)..so i would like to take back my first post...and go back to just being silent and not posting and making an *** of myself

Posted: Dec 21 2002 at 10:55 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I use 2hs sometimes. And sometimes I have no other choise. When you got 2 rogues in your group and your having problems keeping agro, switch to a fast 2hs and see what happens. They increased the amount of agro 2hs creates.

Hmm cant quite understand why they would put an agro proc on a 2 hander for warriors only.
Doesnt seem to make sense. I could understand if they used something better than this or even better than enraging blow. More along the lines of a proc that caused 1000 agro since this is a 2 hander. But hey I am just a dumb warrior and what do I know LOL.
Not bad stats tho just boggled at the proc.

Also, 2 handers proc more often than one handers ( speaking generally ). Supposedly you are able to get the same amount of procs with a 2 hander as you would dual wielding two weapons with the same proc. Same number of procs + higher dps = more aggro and less ripsotes.

The days of duel weild > 2 handers are coming to a close. When you start to tank the average teir2 mob and are getting beat for 675 a pop and you think to yourself... how much of this is riposte dmg... you start to see the advantage of high delay proc-ing 2handers. It isn't hard to hold aggro with a 2hander like this, I can say at 62 I have a 47dmg 2hander and I hit upwards of 325 buffed, give me this and I'll up my 2hand PoP AA's and will probably never bother with my 1handers

450 hate per proc... not knowing how frequently this will proc in one fight... will definately help beyond the 200+ hits this thing will do, plus the taunt of a warrior, and with raid haste, this thing will just be a blur.... Concussion, the wizard spell, drops hate by 250 I think, and never more than 2 are needed to get the mob off the wizard onto someone else. Overall, I think this is just a great blade for those big strong bulky, well, you get the idea :)
