The newbie servers are catching up. On Stromm Realm of Insanity is already Times capable, and already fully raiding Times. I know lots of the RoI members have atleast half their elemental armor or atleast a few pieces. The Stromm server in terms of gear is almost caught up to some regular servers.

I have finally seen one of these on my server. God knows us bards have waited long enuf for the warriors, pallys and SK's to get theirs :D Fennin currently has 3 (I think) guilds in Time, and I've only seen 1 bard elemental bp and 2 warr elemental bp's.

I have yet to even HEAR of anyone who has gotten elemental armor. Im starting to wonder if its even POSSIBLE to get a full suit of this stuff. BTW anyone know what color this armor is?
Color is a reddish-orange. Close to rust I guess.

umm lots of people have been getting elemental armor and most people already have near full sets missing only the BPs.
Lots is a relative term, and by that you could mean 200 servers-wide. Sure, I could buy that.
However, *most* people are no where near full sets of elemental armor. In fact, I would guess that *most* people are not even flagged for the elemental planes.
Start with the people on newbie servers like the eruo servers and Stromm. Then move on to the people who just do trader or trade-skill stuff. Then the people who play in a group with RL friends and are not in a raid. Then the farmers who could care less about elemental planes because SoL and LoY items are still hot and will be for a long time to come. Then there are the low-end guilds who are happy to have gotten everyone keys for Sebilis.
Keep in mind that the game is not entirely made up guilds that farm the elemental planes when they're not romping Time.

Yes, I know I'll probly never see this item, but it really makes me proud that even the bard's elemental armor sticks it to the rangers :)

Yeah, only ten more levels to go... and you have to be in a very uber guild and put in many days of your time to get flagged to be in any elemental plane (only a handful of guilds across all servers are). then consider that these molds are *extremely* rare, and this breastplate hasn't even been made yet, it was ripped from EQ's files.

EDITED: Looks like they took care of the problems that this BP. WIS was changed to INT and the Percussion mod was switched to Brass.
I still wish they'd switch the 10 AGI and the 30 DEX stats around, since it's hard to max AGI and almost impossible NOT to max your DEX. But I guess you can't get everything you want. At least SOE seemed to listen to the players on this one. =)

I completely understand where you're coming from, but until they fix this it's not a total loss. I know that your dominant stat of INT/WIS affects how quickly you learn skills (non-combat). Sooo... if this puts WIS at your dominant stat (over INT) than you will still learn skills (non-combat) faster. So until SoE fixes this to have INT on it, it's not as bad as you think.
Ummmm, you do know that for a bard your mana is calculated by how high your int is along with +mana items, correct? Wisdom is pretty much the most worthless stat to a bard, and the +wis on this BP was obviously a mix up.

Different quest. Warrior's AC 63 BP is Ornate Tranquility armor. This is Elemental Tranquility armor. I'd expect the warrior Elemental BP to have an AC over 100. We'll have to wait and see.

Yep, the warrior bp is AC 100 and has the effect of Avatar. And a bunch of other stats I'm not recalling just this second

Don't worry, you were probably looking at the warrior ORNATE breastplate. Its weaker than the elemental. This breastplate is the elemental bard breastplate. I'm sure the warrior elemental breastplate is at least 90 AC.

Sony has reversed the INT/WIS on many of the new PoP armors but has been working to correct them as they have been reported.
Most recently, the smithed ethereal PoP chain armors (nightmare chain, hurricane chain, etc.)were switched from INT to WIS, since they were wearable by WIS casters only. Since the plate armors are wearable by WIS casters (CLR, PAL) and INT casters (SHD, BRD), they simply added WIS to the stat list.
I am sure they will fix this if enough people report it.

That's the problem, or one of them. Verant is out of the picture entirely. SOE is the whole show now. Not sure anyone at SOE plays the game, they may have forgot that giving Wis to bards is stupid. WE USE INT. lol Oh well, I'm nowhere near 65 anyway, aside from 13 levels hehe.

Heh, concidering how often they bug Bards, I'd say the oversight idea is more likely... Though we HAVE gone at least 3 patches without a bug that I've noticed, think it's a record!
That's it, you did it. Never, ever let SoE realize they haven't fooked Bards up recently.

Me not being a plate weare can only drool...but I have a gripe...since chain/leather/silk has less ac than plate, shouldn't they have more stats such as agi and dex...after all, plate is non-flexable, therefore it shouldnt allow you to move as easily. Plate wearers, flame away...me jealous.

Common misconception here. Plate is actually the easiest armor to move in, by far the lightest, and the most comfortable to wear unless it's either extremely cold or extremely hot and sunny. Plate has been the lightest armor since the advent of the blast furnace in the 11th century.
I have personally worn heavy leather armor, chain armor, and full field plate. Chain is by far the heaviest being almost twice that of plate. A full chain shirt weighs close to 40 pounds alone. The full length hauberk weighs 60 pounds. Leather is the hottest and hardest to move in. Chain and plate both provide nearly equal protection against bladed weapons but plate is much better at stopping piercing weapons and arrows. This protection against piercing weapons, and the ease of movement are why plate was the choice of those who could afford whatever they wanted.

Depends on how you want to argue it.
Plate, while mostly inflexible, nearly requires the dex/agi you suggested for it to be functional.
Chain/leather and silk, doesn't "need" dex/agi for you to be able to move around in it.

But silk or leather armor would grant more dex and agility to the user as opposed to plate, magic factors aside.
Since most equipment is magical.. you can use that to explain every piece of armor's stat allocations. Why does this chestplate give you wisdom? The magic properties of this chestplate makes you wiser.
