Being a Troll Warrior with regen innate aa's, I regen 26 per tick unbuffed.

This ring would bump me to 29 per tick and rising.

Don't tell me this isn't uber.

Saying regeneration does not count or add much is as silly as saying that 25hp does not help or add much. It doesn't add much by itself, true, but it adds up in the end.

Look at it this way: lets say your average mob takes 20 ticks to kill. You regenerate an extra 3hp per tick with this, so you regenerate a total of 60hp during the fight. That's like having an extra 60hp, with the only caveat being that you have to be wounded to get it.

Most high end MA would sell their sisters to get an extra 60hp.

Having an extra 60 HP after 20 ticks has nothing whatsoever to do with being a toon that has 60 extra HP all the time. No "high end MA" is having any effect whatsoever on the outcome of a battle with mobs the level of Agnarr by getting an extra 3 hp every 6 seconds.

i know in some ways this sounds super foolish...but you are a tad wrong, kk first off Agnarr isn't tough ..he is gimp..its mostly just getting to him and making sure they stay alert...

As for the regen...come on now..why mobs are so hard half of the time is because of their own regen..if your dps isn't high enuff..clerics will go oom eventually...the mob will still be alive...and with an oom cleric...you can mostly bet that the MA is gonna die...and if the MA dies..SA most will likely die too..an the raid force wipes..now i know 3 regen is nothing...but with other regen stack effects...16 hp a tick is better then none...matter of fact..it can even save your ***...your at 250hp...regen back too 266 and the mob hits you for 251...i know this is an extreme example...but when high end mobs dish out dps...regen just plays one of the small rolls that make the whol matter just that much more important..i guess my main point is...don't knock the regen..it can save your ***..i know for myself..i have been purple bared and thnx to regen lived long enuff for that timely CH....

But I still think this item should be enabled for Shamen and Necromancers, if for the regeneration effect alone.

To meele classes regeneration isnt as worthwile unless we are soloing, or in a pure non-effect AOE raid...most times when going up against mobs with mean AE effects such as slow/manadrain etc, Regeneration doesn't play a vital role

This is with exception of mobs who have high AE dots...regeneration helps keep you alive till the priests have time to heal the effects.

the regen effect is just an added bonus. Any class would want this item for the pure hp and stamina, it just so happens Verant included the melee classes and not the casters. For rogue/ranger/monks this would be about 205 hp, for the tanks 245 hp (if they aren't maxed out in stamina), give or take a few. Very few earrings offer this type of hp. Very nice item.

Are you kidding Bulbog, there is 125 hitpoints on this earing, ok sure stam would help(a little), considering you stam isn't already maxxed or near maxxed with your current gear, thats prety friggen good for an ear piece. Yeah ok thats just what I think =P. Then you have the regen, well when did regen ever hurt anyone......

i would love one of these but out of respect i would bow out of the first role to give the tanks better odds because i would only need the affect when i duo and play the rogue tank

also will affect stack with other regin spells buffs or focuses cos that would rock
