Planes of PowerLooks similar to the picture. The shaman holds it near the blade and has most of the staff hanging out the back.
Kinda nice to have a lesser used graphic IMO. At least for the non-epic wielder.

In the matter of about an hour, i had two of the drop, one of the iksar shammy in the northern jail area (connected to Gerlock tunnels) and one off a gnome necromancer.
Had to run to the bank and stash one in my shared bank slot so i could loot the other =)

Killed it with a 65 ranger and 53 Warr Both mine was 2 boxin and it dropped of a high elf in the basement can't remember name ATM but this is decent n00B gear and its quit fast for a shammy, the the speed alon migh make up for loss of heal compared to Soulstripper

Noone mentions the AC on this as a grouping shaman still using the REIF til I can get my epic I like the idea of getting bumped up another 10 ac and the stats on it are a bit better than the REIF and stats matter more than proc/ratio while your buffing/slowing in a group. Not to say if I wanted to melee I would gladly take the Soulstripper or REIF over this but this spear has a tiny advantage in stats over the REIF but less compared to the soulstripper as the stripper has Hps aswell.

A NPC in the basement area (downstairs near captain nyra )in the plane of justice near the Gaolers a Dwarf prisoner named Nemli dropped a nice shammy spear

If you are going for a weapon that has a healing proc for the shaman then go for the Soulstripper. 75pt lifetap. Unfortunately, it's 1hb.
If you are going for a piercing weapon then this may just be up your alley. Though I do wish it was much better.

This item drops off any of the mobs on "prisoner" faction in the area of cells opposite the pre trials entry room. Instead of taking the left once down the stairs to trials, hang a right, go into that cell block, wax the gaolers and start killing prisoners. They drop this, Sandals of the Last Walk, and Staff of the Peacekeeper or Peacemaker, forgot the exact name on the staff.

This weapon is better than the Rune Etched Icewurm Fang melee wise. Here's why: for a shaman with Cannibalize HP = Mana, so the heal proc can be converted right back into mana. You can get it to proc either by using it in melee against the monsters you get XP from, or finding a green mob to get it to proc on. That's why this is a much better proc than Spirit Strike imo.

The amount of damage that this heals is simply not enough to make that big an impact, especially compared to the sheer volume of damage a proccing REIF can do. Its a good spear - stat wise - but the *required* level of 55 makes it all but useless. At 55, you need more than Light Healing to make an impact. Besides, at that level, a shaman should be looking hard towards their epic, not backwards towards REIF-level mobs.
I would love one of these just due to the name. I realize that with a horse I won't bother trying to melee at all, but it would still be great to have a weapons named for my gods. Anyone got any info on where about to find it?

This proc would be handy in a fight. Yeah light healing is a small amount but with regrowth or better, bear form, possibly other regen gear or spells from other classes, this weapon procing 5 or 6 times in a battle could be a lifesaver.
Also, if anybody in the know would post what dropped it, it would be much appreciated.
