Guess I don't have one on my BST...LMFAO, not use-a-ble..lol, too many toons and weapons. Still works good on my 46 SHM..........................
This is a sweet little pc for the above classes. Decent dmg and with the amount of Ice DD's these guys cast at times it puts out more dmg then a lot of proc's do on weapons going for a lot more. Not to mention +10 to a prime, (int./wis),isn't bad on any weapon I see around the Bazzar. I have one on both My SHM and My BST, want another for low lvl WIZ. They range from lvl's 27 to 46 and will all 3 use for awhile yet.
Payed about 10k or a bit more and see them go as high as 15 on nameless. They only pop up now and then.
To the Dude in the pricing list who said he uses them for Tribute, (O)(O), try some mistletoe cutting sickles, at 150 ea. with 1300 return. Unless u like to give away plat in that case send me an e-mail. /grin

Why in Mithanial Marrs name would a Mage even want to have this item. We are the masters of the elements and have no Cold based spells. WTF is wrong with that picture ??

I don't get any extra damage with this when casting my Druid spell, Ice, a DD ice-based spell. Not sure why, it worked just fine on my Wizard.
It's selling in the Bazaar right now, one for 16k, another for 17k.
just bought mine for my chanty for 10k on bristlebane server.. Someone wanted to sell it on the go so i kinda feel lucky. This effect is a cold DD only effect i believe.. I use it more for stats then anything else.. Have a ID3 cloak so i'm all good.. Nice weap, i'm sure i can get at least 25k for it if i sell it.
is it really on cold or can us chanties use this? or do i need to find another id3 item? just spent 14k on this and dont want to find out its a waste of my money as a chanter.

Just bought this for 60k in Povar - the other one was sitting next to it 140k+, by none other than Vitesse =P
Between Vitesse, Ravensurplus, and Transaxion they pretty much own all the tradable drops on Povar.

Plane of Justice, Trial of Flame. A Burning Nemesis (An SK) drops it as his rare drop. You'll tell when he has it since it looks like he's holding a sceptre (duh)

Hmm just aquired this item and am seeing no increase over base dmg with fire and magic based DD spells...am I missing something? Am a lvl 62 mage and have tried it on various pop and old world mobs, range and primary slot. In every case am only doing base dmg.

Ok, ignore my first post...I found out that this item will only affect cold based DD spells..something Mages do not have so is totally useless for us except for the stats...pretty spendy for that purpose only...off to the bazaar to (hopefully) sell it.
Dont feel bad had to do the same thing :(

When I bought it, the guy told me Nightmare Plane. But I haven't seen any since then, so I can't 100% confirm what it drops off of. Sorry :/

Well since it's got 10 int I'd say it's it's 10x better then staff of wheel not to mention the other stats. Look before you post.

This adds upto 170dd to Wizard Draught of Ice. Normally lands for 726dd.

did you calculate this up or did you do the math by having this item and using it? if its the latter where did you find it?
I had this item, it didn't increase Druid Ice Nukes..

Perhaps he was using one of the cold spells excluded by the effect, like Blizzard. Or since a lot of druids still do not have Moonfire maybe he was using Ice, does anyone know if the debuff part of Ice excludes it from being an "instant" spell. This would account for the focus effect not working.
I own this item, and yes it does increase my Moonfire (ice based) druid nuke. I am not sure what you are doing wrong.
Anger of (Ro/fire, E'ci/Ice, Druzzil/Magic) are 23% focus effects for a specific type of nuke. I have a cloak with Anger of E'ci. Anger is the "weakest" of the 3 new focus effects. Fury is the next step up (I have yet to see anything with Fury), and it is a 30% bonus. Wrath is the highest, and is a 35% bonus. My cold nuke Winter's Frost has a normal max of 1550 so it max hits for 1906. Not too bad. Would love to have a Wrath item tho, 2092
