Great piercer - I added a vampire kiss lifetap from ldon and now it has a proc. 15/20 with a decent proc - I'm not in an uber guild so this allows me to compete. Only one I ever saw up for sale I bought.

I offhand my epic and primary a variety of weapons, Frosty, Lupine, Tox, Fleshgrinder. This weapon looks like a sweet deal better for a rogue, but I wouldn't kick it out of bed for eating nachos. Ulvian hit the nail on the head, warriors are about aggro, monks, rogues and rangers are about DPS. I haven't been to Hate to get the final piece for "Aggrocaller" and when I do get it, I'm not sure how much I'll be using it, I'm pretty sure my DPS will go way down when I start spending every encounter chain casting Jolt. If I can find one of these, I will definitely be using it, 12ac aint to shabby either. Unladar Warder on Mith Marr

I would say that this is a really great rogue piercer to replace ragebringer in the mainhand although it does lack stats. This would also make a nice Ranger main or offhand weapon. Great damage with a decent delay. I would personally put this in my rangers main hand as I rely on swiftwind for haste. No worries about aggro because this weapon isn't really that fast, nor does it proc any aggro inducing effects. As for warriors, this would do for a lvl 51 warrior, but I'd look for something to hold aggro, or add hp.
I'd be surprised if you were able to outdamage a fleshgrinder with this weapon as a ranger. The fact that it is a piercer and the ranger cap for that skill is 240 as opposed to the 252 you'd have with the fleshgrinder, the reduction in your attack would make up for the poorer ratio on the fleshgrinder.
combo boc with bloodfrenzy. most guilds looking to do pop progress can do aow/cursed - so this is the basic combination. namely this has a high dmg for the backstab mod with the lower delay.
Blade of Carnage. 15 damage 20 delay 10 to all stats? or is it 15? 100hp/mana Procs pure aggro.
Well, this baby drops off Avatar of War, a comparable, if not more difficult encounter to Vyhzdra the cursed. Mob who drops another aggro proccing weapon, the Hategiver.
Warriors in any guild strong enough to do either of the above mobs would definitelly not be awarded a sword which in no way, shape, or form procs aggro.
Warrior's job is not to deal damage, ask Furror, or any other high end warrior. Most will tell you that if there was a /fart skill which builds unshakeable aggro, but does not let you attack while using it...they would be working off their AA butts for it.
Warriors are the sacrificials, their job is to guarantee that their face, and not anyone elses is in the way of the Mob's boot.
This sword has 0 of what warriors are looking for in the high end.
0 Hp 0 Proc 0 Aggro effect
Ive posted below already but here are some very good warrior weapon combos' which aren't difficult to attain.
Cord Wrapped Hilt Spike Driver from PoI (proc 300 aggro) Blade of Strategy (Proc 100dd and 500 aggro) ** As a side note...against the common belief, the warrior epics are very worthwile doing just for this one sword. It does not get replaced any time soon.

Considering that you can find weapons, as you have stated, that are easier to get and produce similar aggro, the warrior epic is nice to look at and all but can be replaces quickely. I just recently was awarded Wavecrasher (procs a slow and a 200point dot) by my guild, and at 53 I can start pulling aggro from the 55 ranger and even at times the 5 SK, (its comboed with a Velium swiftblade) thoes also jmake a good pair.
While this is a decent weapon, by no means would I call it a "good" warrior weapon.
The ratio is laughable, the sword has little to offer in terms of Hp or resists.
Wilsapper, which comes from an easy mob (While admittedly heavily farmed) Owns the Wavecrasher.
Now don't get me wrong, Wavecrasher is a great warrior weapon up untill you recieve a wilsapper. Also most likely the best (realistically attaineable) Sellable warrior main hand.People can say that Blade of Carnage isn't no drop all they want, Im on the same server as FoH, and we have 6 other guilds capable of AoW...Ive yet to see a BoC sold.
Warrior epic while difficult for low tier guilds, is by no means hard. There are a total of 3 encounters which drop the green scale, which in comparison is a LOT more than lets say the final part of Enc epic (atm the hardest epic in the game).
One of the best warrior combos up untill taking down the previously mentioned mobs is in fact their Epic for offhand, and wilsapper for main hand.
Anyone who thinks otherwise is an idiot.
As for a 12/19 160dd proc out damaging a 15/20 in main hand...dream on.
The raw ratio on this piercer is 18.7 percent better than the ratio on Fleshgrinder. 10 piercing (out of possible 250 skill) is roughly 4% less damage than a 15/20 1hs would deal.
Which still makes this Short Sword 14.7% better dps than Fleshgrinder from the mathemathic standpoint.
Ill try to get some parses made of the Fleshgrinder/Swiftwind Combo, and Terror Forged Short Sword/Swiftwind Combo as soon as 1 of these drops and post them here.
Ulvian ur comment is pretty correct on aggroing weapons, but u have the wrong mobs...
Hategiver is dropped by Xerkizh the Creator. Vyzh'dra the Cursed drops Bloodfrenzy. and AoW is NO WAY close to cursed in difficulty... with the advancement of PoP, AoW is now a farming mob, while cursed reamins a fight that needs high concentration and cooperation... BoC is sold on market quite regularly...

I carry a csf dmg 10 this is a dmg 15 if i had a chance at this at lvl 43 i would strap that beast on and agro steal every monk i see with my bs capped and str buffed to about 210 i can pull a 194 bs max average about 115 i would love that extra 5 dmg increase that is like a possible 300 pt bs (just geusstamating please dont flame) if i can match the dmg on my centi ss with this even better the 20% increase will knock em down faster and that is the key ohh and by way of dmg and ratio i have been lookin and this is one of the top of the line pokers you can find without takin down a god yourself and preying your ran500 is perfect so you can loot
This makes Ragebringer an offhand weapon automatically for Rogues, the Bs and frontal damage blow away the Rogue epic.
15/20 Vs 15/25. You do the math.
For the other classes allowed this. Well Im a Ranger, and I have both my Epics, Swiftwind and Earthcaller...and In Comparison to this, I find my Earthcaller very lacking at only 14/24 (I more often times use Fleshgrinder which is a 12/19 160dd proc. As far as raid encounters go, this is MUCH better than either of the two)
Now, I must wonder, what drops this weapon, because I plan to start farming them with my guild. Heh expecting something challenging hopefully, from a mob that drops a RB 2.0 and EC 2.0
OH @ other classes using this. Warrior Combo by this encounter level -Wilsapper (13/20 9 ac 50hp procs a high aggro slow) -Blade of Tactics (14/24 some other stats, procs 75dd and some pure aggro effect form...Ie) Bard Combo -Singing Short Sword -Toetwister or better.
Rangers and Rogues get stuck with their epics for a very long time usually, this sword is a great breath of fresh air for both classes.
From what I understand, BS damage is determined by weapon damage, not delay. Therefore, this would have the same BS as the Ragebringer. And since the BS refresh timer is completely independent of delay, it still wouldn't make a difference. At least, with the rogue I played dualing RB offhand with Massive Heartwood Thorn (15/20), there was no difference in BS damage, regardless of which I had primary.
Although you are correct about there not being any increase in backstab damage, this WOULD have a delay reduction that would up your non backstab dmg by 20%, don't know about you, but for me a 20% dmg output increase in main hand would be an excellent upgrade
