Ornate is not required lvl 58 or recommended lvl of 65... just got the tunic for my druid at 55 and all stats are maxed.

elysian was a total waist of time. The gear can't even compare to this.

umm elysian sucks compared to this, the clicky effect is uber, you get more mana, and the graphic i prefer over the gay fake-chainmail look of the elysian

Quote:
The effect is not the same as the Elysian. Blessing of Replenishment is the level 63 group regeneration spell. The Elysian has the group regen that is one step below this one (level 55 I think, but that is off the top of my head).

the Ely has no effect at all
#REDACTED, Posted: May 06 2004 at 9:32 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Harbaurk of harmony is my other BP, its got the exact same effect on it. Bascially I wear my elysian, and I keep the hoh in my inventory for a free regen buff for the group.
RE: other tunic

that has Regrowth of the Grove, not Blessing of Replenishment

This is a good tunic and all, but right now my druid has Elysian along with a BP with this same effect. While this is slightly better then elysian I don't forsee me ever bothering with this. No way id pay 100k for it *assumeing I had anywhere near that kind of plat*, and my druid is guildless so I won't be looting the pattern anytime soon.
RE: hmm

Look at the mana and hp on this. By the time you are in 60s you should have 300 or more wis. So you look for mana instead. Me personally I have 349 wis unbuffed and looking to trade out wis for more raw mana.

Elysian Tunic from UP? If this is the one you are referring to, my druid has the Elysian tunic and it has no "effect" on it. The person who's post you reponded to I believe said they had elysian but a DIFFERENT BP with this same effect.

I suspect the tunic he's speaking of is one of the Velious tunics, which has Regrowth of the Grove on it. Not quite the regen of Blessing of Replenishment.

There is no other BP with this effect on it. The only item in the game with the effect Blessing of Replenishment IS this tunic, at least according to Lucy.

This may be a stupid question but can a 57 Druid wear this? If so will the spell work on it or not till I'm 60?

I answered my own question...A 57 druid can wear it and the spell does work at that level.

I use this tunic over my elysian and SS tunics simply because I think this one is better. Since I've already maxed my wisdom with other gear and AAs, the extra mana from this is much more valuable, and the effect is better than the Thurg, Kael, and SS armor pieces (naturally because it's a higher level regen). Although the saves are a little less for the most part, the SVM and SVP is extremely handy, and it's not hard to get all your saves to 150 without buffs, easily 250 with buffs and higher with bard resist song. All in all, I love this tunic, it took me (amazingly) about four hours after getting flagged for BoT, which was about one tenth of the time I spent getting my elysian tunic and at least a twentieth of the time it took me to loot the tunic pattern in Kael for my SS armor. Most druids will take this tunic over any of the non-PoP tunics, and until I get my Immaculate Vest of the Fire Tyrant (the only damn BL in my guild was awarded it last Fennin kill...grrrr), this item will be guarding my boobs.

Hrmmm...looted a Skyshrine armor piece in Kael, did you? Strange, I thought the Skyshrine pieces dropped in Halls of Testing in Temple of Veeshan. Thurgadin quest armor drops in Kael.

This paricular tunic is, however, a very nice piece, and worthy to replace any velious quest tunic or Elysian.

The effect is actually blessing of replenishment, which is the group version of the spell.

I got mine off of one of the tower bosses in BoT

I just got mine 2 days ago and love it, much better then SoV Tunics and better then Elysian just because of the effect, I don`t really care for losing 1 save here or there as that won`t mean crap in a fight with a caster mob.

I have this tunic and it is actually Awsome.. It is a group regen spell, and you can bet when the effect wears off in my group the tanks are reminding me fast ( most times as I am recasitng)only pitfall is I cant buff other groups with it when raiding. My Elysian tunic sits in the bank for back up armour..Now I want the boots.

After i got this my Elysian and HoT armour was detroyed immediately and without regret.

There are very few encounters where the difference between saves would make me wear the Elysian Tunic over this.

Possibly i could have kept my Elysian as 'save gear' for those encounters, but more hps/mana/better stats means that this is better as standard gear.

Btw the effect is Blessing of replenshment

Regrowth of the Grove
# Jan 15 2003 at 7:32 AM Rating: Decent
I much prefer this over the Velious armor quests, replenishment gives a higher lvl of hp regen, and lasts almost as long as RotG. I can't wait to get a pattern!!! Also, although it doesn't have the saves that the Elysian tunic does, I can make up the saves elsewhere...in my range slot perhaps. Currently wisdom is way over my max so the 6or 8 wis (depending on which range item I have equiped) isn't going to hurt me for now. Plus if I need such high resists, I should be in a group or raid that has an enchanter to GRM and a shaman who can disease/poison resist me. Also by training AA in your resists stats, resists on gear become less needed.

#REDACTED, Posted: Jan 13 2003 at 8:49 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) if you think that most druids would prefer to use a group buff instead of the super powered twice as good single target you're a fool.. even if it makes you click over to every single person down the line.. just being in a group with a druid that's got this spell is awesome. It's like having a fungi tunic on and it stacks with one if you still have it. making hp regen an insane amount.. though i would keep the fungi in the backpack while i was fighting... single target right click replenishment is 100 times better than regrowth of the grove. period ..end of story.

they are talking about the spell BLESSING OF REPLENISHMENT... not Regrowth of the Grove... It is like the lvl 61 Replenishment spells except it is cast on ur entire group...

EQTC has the effect of this tunic listed as Blessing of Replenishment which would seem to make sense keeping with the effect of SoV quest tunics having RoTG. Both being group regens. Anyone know for sure which is correct?

this would sit in a backpack while i wear my elysian, I would pull this out for the rclick effect.
#StrungOut, Posted: Jan 05 2003 at 12:33 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Well it doesn't really matter you n00b, because you'll never see this chest and if you actually would think for one second that elysian is better, then you're a fool. This has 70 more hps that elysian and 5 more sta making that a good 85 hps over elysian, 2 extra saves don't mean ****. Keep your mouth shut if you don't know what you're talking about

you sir, are a tool. resists are important, as is hp. which is more important comes down to, in my opinion, how you play your particular druid. while i myself like the idea of added hp, i rarely find myself in a situation where the difference between me living and dieing, as a druid, was my hp. my resists have saved me while soloing more times than i can count. my hp rarely matter when solo. in fact, the only time they matter to me now are when, a: im soloing summoning mobs and am slow to hit exodus after a bad break, b: when i get frisky and jump in to melee with a procing weapon for sport and take the occasional riposte, or c: im at a raid with an AoE mob. perhaps the former poster does not value hp as much as you or i. calling him a noob for not having the same opinion as you is rather dumb though. the difference between you and God? God doesn't think he is you.

all of that said, this tunic will replace my elysian tunic asap, because i consider it an upgrade. everyone else can do and play how they want.

RE: backpack

WHY? This has more hp/mana than elyisans.

look at the saves. at the level where you would get this, saves become very important. 20 mana is not worth the lost saves. elysian is 8 sv all.
and hp are not very high on the druid priority list. if you are getting hit, you are already doing something very wrong. the mobs you deal with in the high 50's and 60's quad for several hundred hit points. with a druids ac and base hp, the extra hp is less than 1/4 of a single hit. not worth caring about.
RE: backpack
# Jul 02 2003 at 4:27 AM Rating: Decent
More mana, and then there's the issue of saving 600mana per cast of BoReplenishment...not a tough choice.

By this point, saves are an issue, but losing a few over the mana you would save and gain is inconsequential. Just a matter of choice, whether you'd want the saves for a raid or the effect in a group. So you lose 2 points to FR and one point to CR and DR. You gain 2 points in MR and PR, which makes up for it. And having those extra HPs will matter when you're fighting a mob that AEs often.

Well since u all got your flames out tiem for my responce / reasoning.... with the gear i have there are always people oom before me and well whipe anyway wether or not i have a bit more mana. As for hp sure more is nice thats the weakes stat on elysian but to be realistik 4k hp self buffed for a druid is plenty. Now the one thing you cant get eneugh of on s z is resists.... because of pvp, so even after all the flames and ******** i still wear my elysian for the most part. So anyway i bet most of the people who posted have never played pvp, so plz dont flame polite suggestions... sure but flaming when u got not idea what your talking about is kinda silly.
so for now... FLAMERS BITE ME or come to sz and make an evil or a newt so i can pk you and cc you until you camp or quit the server LOL byby!

W/ the new focus effects...I think these armors will be more sought after...

For expample: The tunic now has the effect of the new higher regen that's 25 hps/tick instead of 15 hps/tick w/ SoL armor...

Also, the boots have Mana Pres IV...

Silly question

Are you nuts? The effects on most druid armor are lame low-level effects, except for the very occasional piece like the Woven Grass Chestguard, and I can cast that spell anyway so I'll take the better stats so I can collect FT/focus items on other slots

Decent amount of Mana on this piece. Comparable to Elysian, but I still think most Druids are going to prefer the Thurg, Kael or SShrine BP for the effect.
