This is a nice belt for a bst. Resistance, dex, and agi ... ac could be a bit better ... still nice tho. I doubt I will be wearing it when I hit 65, but I am sure it will get me from 49 to 60 with no problems at all.

/salute!

As did I, this belt dropped from either an Irmin Fannsk or an Irmin Her Megir - log didn't specify which body had this looted from it and we had killed both within a minute or two of the looting of this belt.
Hmmm, I like : )

Well, seems like alot of people are knocking this belt. Might not be great for those who actually loot it. However, as a 55 rogue who is just entering into Halls of Testing, I bought this belt mainly for the HP and resists. The 15FR 15CR will be a great addition to my utility gear. I couldn't really find any other purchasble belt with the resists that this gave me.
#REDACTED, Posted: Nov 27 2002 at 5:46 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) With this post and your other posts on new PoP items, I have to question your intelligence...Firstly, if you were proud of your lvl 53+ tank using a belt so much worse than Putrid Belt of Rotten Hide, then you really need to stop joining DL and KC groups...Secondly, the priest caster mace which you said was so horrible? you do realize that A) it has very nice stats, and B) Just because you have a melee weapon, you don't HAVE to use it. So go back to your UP elysians and leave the real fighting to the people with half a brain and even remotely good gear. BTW SOE, keep up the $h!tty itemization!! GOOD JOB!!!
#REDACTED, Posted: Nov 27 2002 at 6:12 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) They still don't get it do they? Show me one of these classes, of the level that might get this item, that would wear it.

I wear this as a level 65 monk, and consider it significantly better than a Spider Fur Belt. The reason: resists. At this level on raids, if you're not tanking, HP and resists are your best friend.

And so.. WHAT? Any class that doesnt cast, or doesnt cast well to get the aggro. IE: Rangers, Warriors, Rogues. They need to get aggro off the Lifetapping SKs and they're pets. I can't tell you how many times I've watched the whole group wipe because the tanks cant keep aggro, If they have procing weapons: Felhammer, BBoT, SSoY... that helps keep aggro. (my best friend has a warr :\) DEX and AGI add to a) the ability to proc more often, and b) the ability to dodge and stuff when you get the aggro. the extra HP is nice. and the resists are pretty nice for a belt. Point is, this belt is much better than spiderfur, and I'd be proud to have any MT I meet be using one.

LOL !

Ever heard about (En)snare ? it's one of the best ways out there to get aggro even over people a couple of levels above you. Immolate works wonder here too AFAIC.
