The droppable Elemental Leather Boot Pattern for this dropped for us yesterday from Magmaton, in Doomfire, The Burning Lands (also known as Plane of Fire). Presumably, they drop from many other Tier 3 named.

Magmaton also dropped a Necklace of Reflected Flames.
not no drop.. yeah right

I need to have a talk with Master Ton Po. He took my sandals again and looks like gave my secret pattern out to whom everyone wants them. No more wine making for him. Only fishing duties. I shall tell the abbot about this at once.

First, this is the only piece from these quests that is not NO DROP. Common wisdom is that these will be corrected to be NO DROP in a near future patch.

Secondly, even if they remain no drop... in order to make these you need to a) get a flag for defeating Terris Thule (or possibly making it to any second tier plane), b) get the appropriate pattern which are apparently rare/uncommon drops off named mobs in second tier planes (from what I've read so far anyway), and c) get your hands on an ethreal silk swatch (requires a tailoring skill of 200+ to be allowed to attempt, trivial 212) plus the other components, one of which costs 500p from the quest giver.

All of this equals: an obscenely high price from the monk (a monk must buy the emblem from the quest giver) who either has better or wants to make an amazing amount of money. I'm guessing that 200k would be a great deal on these, on any server.

well the dont get excited is correct, but rest of the post isnĀ“t. ;)
if elemental patterns and molds drop of tier 2 posses, then alot of ppl would have that.
but elemental patterns drop in the elemental planes, ornate patterns can drop of minibosses in tier 2 and up yah, but there is a world of difference between the 2.

Dang, is almost hard to believe that an item like this is actually tradeable. Makes me wish I played my monk more often.
As for useful information, what is the trivial on the combines for this quested gear? And are the components tradeable?

Don't expect this to last too long -- apparently they are currently w/out a recommended lvl on them either. This will probably change with the next patch, given that all the other quest armor is no-drop with a recommended level.

If you go to the quest link it tells you that you have to pay 500 plat for an emblam that give you the ability to tailor tese with no skill.

Yes and no, the final combine is no fail however you still need to make the components needed for the final combine and all those so far are triv at 200+ and maybe 250+

Unless you are on the Fironia Vie server, where most things are droppable.
