Inventory Casting

Anyone know if you able to cast the effect from inventory?
Aug slot?
# Apr 18 2005 at 7:59 PM Rating: Decent
Anyone know what kind of augment slot this has on it now? If any? I'd LOVE to put a masters leggings symbol of growth, or however it's named, into these for mana regen, but the augments only fit in slot 11. Any ideas?

Savage Root

I am not impressed at all with this root. It is very inconsistent with its duration. Engorging Root is much better to use.

My druid is only level 56, and I can tell you this sticks a heck of a lot better than his best spell root. I can root/rot giant Elites in GD, and spiders in velks now, where as before his engulfing roots just didn't cut it.

Obviously I cannot compare to the higher roots, but for a lot of us, these are really nice pants.

I personally thought the right click port to Misty was a helpful effect FOR ITS TIME. However now adays I imagine 95% of your druids got there earring of nature with dreadlands port on it. A manaless port does come in handy, and pre POP misty was the quickest place to bank as a druid.

Im considering getting these for my druids. Average price is 60k on my server and I currently got elysian ATM. I can afford them but its gonna just about drain me.

what lvl clickie?
# Jul 20 2003 at 7:54 PM Rating: Decent
Just did the combine on the bracer at lvl 55... no flags at the time... so it can be done under 60, unlike what many people have told me...

I am curious... on this item... what lvl do you need to be to use the clickie? is it 64? (the lvl of the root spell) or can it be used sooner (like the ensnare clickie on tanglewood)?

I just did the final combine for these legs. ( succesfully too~ )

My tailoring skill is at zero. You dont need any Tailoring skill for the final combine.

You need to use TWO "Cured Ethereal Energy" for the final combine. Doesnt work with Ethereal Silk Swatches and doesnt work with three Energys. ( Which might be the reason people started to think you need a skill of 220, because they tried doing it with 3 of those, as all other legs (Silk, chain and plate ) need three silks/rings/sheets).

None of the Ornate Quests require you to have a tradeskill. Silks/Energy/rings/sheets can usually be bought in the bazaar, and reading what Bor Warhammer´s text, will ensure you that you do not need any skill, because the container will do the hard job for you. ( Read his text about Plate Armor for proof )

And you get your Tanaan Embroidery Needle back after combine.

Might want to clarify for those that are pursuing this that you dont need any tailoring skill - you just need to know a 212 tailor who can do it for you. Swatches are tradable, end combine is no fail.
#REDACTED, Posted: Apr 16 2003 at 2:33 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Incorrect, you need 220 modified tailoring to be able to even try the final combine, and you yourself must do it as the armor is No Drop.

The swatches require 220 tradeskill but they are tradable. I repeat - the final combine which is no drop requires no tailoring skill and is no fail. Just get a tailor to make the swatches for you.

"Bor Wharhammer sighs at you. 'T'make a swatch, ye need t'combine two strands o'ether along with a curing agent in a Tanaan loom. Ye will need t'seek a skilled brew master t'make the curing agent fer ye. Just 'ave them create it by using two celestial essences, soda an' paeala sap'"

Unfortunately, both the swatch and the curing agent to make the swatch are restricted to 220+ skill for a combine attempt... in other words, in order to make this stuff, you need to be a 220 tailor. Ouch.

Mine is currently at 158, and 220 is like another country. While a lot of the stuff that's come out with pop is nice, since so much of the tailoring is restricted either by level or tradeskill level, it's not as useful as past expansions, where at least the new stuff could be attempted and if lucky, skilled up on.

No, you dont have to have 220 tailoring to make this armor, the peices that require that skill are droppable
#REDACTED, Posted: Nov 22 2002 at 8:12 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Everything is trivial at 250 I do beleave

Very nice stats!! I am impressed with what has come out of PoP so far. One can wonder what your tailoring level needs to be at for this combine??

I have the BP from this quest. Its stats are "nice". But, considering where you have to go to get the patterns, its a rather pathetic upgrade from Velious quest, barely better than Rumblecrush's tunic, and not as good as Wistful mail of the void. And if your guild can get to where this stuff drops, your guild can easily kill the cursed in ssra, or VT stuff.

A.K.A, they need to up the stats even more (and perhaps a clicky effect too ;)).

Klarabell's gear <--- has the tunic's stats in it, don't feel like trying to type them

My guild could do Ssra and VT but chooses not to. In fact this guild was created by people who couldn't stand the uber guild 'my balls bigger than your balls' pissing contest anymore. This gear is pretty good for the path we have chosen.

Where do the patterns drop?
RE: armors
# Nov 25 2002 at 3:51 PM Rating: Decent
The leggings seem to drop a lot in bastion of thunder, relatively often.

2 leather tunics have dropped, I can't remember where the first dropped, perhaps off the dragon in HoHa, the one I received (because no one else wanted it), came from within Tower of Sol Ro, off of Xuzl.

For the player-combined parts of the quest, I believe it's trivial above 250. The actual combine for the armor is not skill-based, just one or two pieces you need to combine for final item (similar to Earring of Solstice quest).
RE: armors
# Dec 26 2002 at 2:17 AM Rating: Good
Trivial on the components is 212 and can not be attempted without a skill of at least 220 (end skill. if you have skill modifying items you can attempt with less skill than that.) Final combine requiers no skill and is a no fail combine. Warning: you need certain character flags to do this quest (lots of confusion on what you need. generaly, if you were on the plane the pattern/mold dropped on, you should be able to do the quest. generaly.)
