This weapon plus that shortlbade of lightling which drops in BoT, would make an awsome dps combo for a warrior when he doesn't have to worry about being Main Tank :)

hmm personaly, i have never played a war, but what i do know is that i get alot of agro. with that said i use a sheetmetal ulak, and off hand is a slarging spear, i know not standerd faster wep off hand, but my DPS his higher then ever before with this combo in that way, well anyways, wars have told me that faster weps get them better agro, others have told me 2hs high damge ones do. since i get agro i'm assuming it's do to the fact that im puttin gout a little bit of nice damge, sooo, i'd use this if i'm a war with a windblade. simply becuse of the high DPS, not sure of a better comboo, but with a 20 deleay in main hand and 19 delay in off hand, with a fbss for haste, i'm sure for a war with better haste, and usal enchanter/shamy/60+bst/bard, would have more haste then me as such hold good agro, ps i never expect my tanks to hold all agro, it's just too hard, i have yet to find a tank that can keep all agro off me, and my enchanta.

Agro management is everyone's job. Not just the tank. If the tank can't keep agro off of you, try another tactic.

Um, depends on the class, genius. If a Beastlord wanted to, he can out-taunt a Warrior very easy.

You know im sure a Beastlord could get Aggro from a warrior with various tactics, but warriors have more hp / ac and therefore are better tanks. Just because you can hold aggro doesnt make you a good tank. Classes have to work together (some hybrids tanking for short periods of time) at higher levels in order for you to hold aggro effectively OR that mob thats double hitting you for 900 dmg and kicking for 300 + rampage is going to chew right through most Beastlords, regardless of how good of a tank you think you are. Warriors can just stand there and take the damage a bit longer than most other classes=). so next time a tank is falling low on hp and two of your cleric chain just died because of an AE taunt a bit with some of your UBER Beastlord "taunt" and save the warrior so he can heal up and you'll be working as a team! This is when being a better taunt wont matter as much.

Well, I dont mean to be picky, but actually Beastlords dont even get taunt, in order to gain agro off a warrior they would have to out DPS him significantly or if you have no other slower, he could get agro from casting slows.
As pertains to others helping the MT keep agro I agree completely, just about anyone can do something to the mob thats gonna get them mad at you, all classes have tools, you just have to know how to use them properly

Decent weapon, but the lack of any proc might limit it's use. With all the high-aggro weapons out there for other classes, this might not be able to generate what a warrior needs. Then again, it would make a nice offhander.
every good high lvl warrior should have both aggro ,and non aggro weapons, and use them what ever the situation needs.
