where you have to click the fie pot but has no key. If you wait a bit for the outside seb juggernaut to respawn and have them aggro on you then they can open the door for you to go back out.
I'm not concerned about getting the crown on first kill or ten hours later. As an Iksar monk I'll need some time there for faction work. I've been crunching Lower Guk but I just read that Reets offer bigger faction hits. No idea if that's true.
Im real sorry =D... I read all comments and saw some people complaining that you spend '4128471982749814' hours camping, and some people just go there and kill and get it.. Pulled the four reet's by the echo, 2nd kill dropped it /shrug. (Wizard)
Well, before everyone runs to Seb to get their crown, I finished it recently as well. And I killed all reets and Jugs for about 10 hours total before a reet crown dropped. And yes they were gray to my 75 bard
Very easy camp. Load up Lev, Sow and Selo's and zone in. run to the first bridge, drop into the water, make your way to the jail cells and follow the right wall through the caves to the juggernaught room. lull the juggs on the left and the right of you, lull the center jugg - he paths between the two reet rooms but doesn't aggro usually - and rush into one of the rooms. charm one for added dps, use requiem on the other one, and melee/chant it down. my crown dropped on the 6th kill - order went knight wiz, wiz wiz, shaman shaman and bingo!
just an fyi, you'll have to pass through some of the sebellite golems to get there--room 3 with the two side rooms of reets has 5 golems, 4 of which are static, 1 is a pather, and to make things more fun, there's also a wanderer that pops in from time to time.
some of these golem critters see through invis, enrage around 15 or 10 percent, and pretty much pop up around the worst times. at 67, i can only take 3 at a time--usually use up one of my nine-lives. =D
good luck with your crown--i've been poking around since 65 trying to get it.
Room "3" is the big door you open by clicking the pot. The 2 side rooms on it have reets. Straight through it, is a fake wall at the back, that goes into some caves. The end of each of the side tunnels there also have reets.
Now, this is the second level of seb. If you don't know how to get down to it, from zone in, go down to the bridge and hop into the water. Head to the right and pop up in a room near some frog jail cells.

after nearly 6 hours of killing all the reets as fast as they spawn i finally got the crown to drop. I almost fell out of my chair, it was 3AM i was tired and i had to wake up in a few hours anyway.
I guess this does mean its just random, it makes me sick to read people posting how they got theirs first kill or in the first clearing =/
The mob who wears the crown gives a great light in the room, so you can be sure before the kill that the crown is very close to you. You can have the same effect by wearing yourself this crown after the kill and the loot.
You can let the mob alive too and call a friend who needs the crown for kill mob for him.
Not making sence to me, where do these guys spawn I have heard that they are by the jugs, I ran to the jugs the other night inv just looking around but I have no idea were they spawn. Do I need a Rogue to get me past the locked door? Someone please help.
So stoked I been reading up on this quest well i figred i had some time id go try for the crown sence i would get faction and an item for the quest if it droped well first reet frog i killed dropped crown was sweet . ok to get past the door that is locked there is a lil fire pot next to it click the fire pot door opens only thing is its a one way door u cant come back thru so take a gate potion the reets are thru one way door straight thru invis wall to the left there are 2 lil coridors to the left both have i think 3 reet frogs . took me like an hour to fight my way down there so was stoked when i got the crown first frog killed .
There is a way back out the one way door, I think it is posted somewhere on these pages about the reet crown. But I will try and mention it off the top of my head..
As you get to the door from the jug's you click on the pot to open the door. Once on the other side there seems to be no way out. Once on the other side of the door, turn and face it. Shrink X2 if possible(I dont know if it works if you dont shrink). Sit in the left corner of the door, then change the view of the camera so that you can see the other side of the door, and click on the pot again, should work just fine.
Just a little caution about the Reet area. With the epic 1.5, 2.0's that have come out, they have added a few hard as heck golems to the area, making it rather hard to get past em. If they are up, the best bet is to come back later unless you have a group that can take on the 2 lvl 74 or so mobs. It kinda puts a damper on things down there.
On my edit, I changed the lvl of the mobs up to 74, when I went there last they where red to me at 68, but I recall a lvl 70 druid that said they where red to her, I just looked at the right up on them and someone said they where 74, whatever, they are still red. None the less, the Golems are for the Zerker Epic 2.0 if anyone was wandering.
My bard on Drinal was in a Seb. group last night. On the first clearing of the reet room, the crown did not drop. The person who needed the crown had to leave before they respawned. On the second clearing of the room, 3 crowns dropped. I kid you not. There were only 3 of us left by then, so we each got one.
Okie, from what it looks like, this is a 100% complete random drop, it took me around 100 reets to get it, then my friend got it in 4 kills. This is MQ`able, but you both must have warmly faction. The quest isn't too hard, but if your doing reets solo make sure to bring a person who can snare, it'll save you alot of trouble. This is pretty much soloable if your 65, and not a warrior or rogue. Just remember to take a person to snare, you can invis through about 75% of the mushrooms, trying solo through here will often cause death. ( I got around 7 adds while going through!)
My results: Took about 20 - 22 hours /played to do this quest start to finish. (dubious to warmly) Hope it helps abit, Jugs sometimes run, and sometimes don't...
I am wondering if as of 3/11/04 this is still MQable. i heard that a lot of epic quest turn ins that used to be MQ now are not. my druid has one and the faction and my pally has the other parts and faction as well
also can this Be MQ with 2 chars from the same acct??
For those of you just starting out on the crown of deceit quest dont worry too much about the rareity of the reet crown drop.
We had 2 of these drop within about 30mins. We only killed 8 reets as well. The hardest part about it was getting to them. Still a group of 63 Ranger , 65 Necro , 65 BL , 57 Rogue , 61 Cleric and 59 Wizzy had no trouble at all. Once slowed even 3 juggs were`nt that much of a problem - dont forget these are orginal kunark mobs. 177 is the max your gonna get hit for.

0/118 here. The hardest part is not getting to them nor is it a common drop. Invis will get you through shrooms to juggs np, sometimes you have to kill a few juggs to get past see invis but thats np either. Getting them to cough up a crown is a pain in the ***. 2/8 is by no means the average drop rate.
I think whoever got 2 in 30 minutes is darn lucky. My 2 friends and I went over to Seb to the reets with a 70 war, 70 druid(boxed by war), 70 beastlord(me) and a 58 wiz. We kill past jugs and past one way door, then killed all reets possible and also killed the juggernauts. About 3 and a half to 4ish hours later, one crown droped, which i looted, and we stayed there a bit longer but were called to a raid.
So anyways it appears to be completely random drop, good luck on your crowns :)

Posted:Nov 26 2002 at 12:40 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) People are posting about how this "isn't Luclin." Yes, no ****, Seb isn't on Luclin. But this item wasn't added until Luclin came out.
Up there where it says "Kunark Required: Yes", it used to say "Luclin Required: Yes". Simple mistake by the site mods fixed with a simple email sent to the "Send a correction" link, also above. Most people don't notice it unfortunately and instead post corrections in the item threads.
While it will help in some places, the fact that you'd be a Wood Elf that worships Innoruuk and has killed in Plane of Growth (probably :)) will tend to reduce it's usefulness in a lot of places. NPCs just KNOW who your God is and what you've been up to :)
