Anyone know what this quest consists of yet?
I really want one of these.. but the only one I saw was when a group member looted it (and didn't remember what they looted it off of). Was it only on the bandit? I never saw one until then..
EDIT: I got one, yes it was on a normal bandit.. then the next one we killed, there it was again! In total 3 of them dropped.. I've had this thing stuffed in my backpack for a while now... geez .. its been ages since I was in pc.. it didn't do anything special for me..

Posted: Aug 17 2003 at 1:52 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I have a lvl 35 shaman who got this when he was hunting in Paludal at 15-25 and never did ditch it but i can say that when i went to HHK to solo osargen who is Btw very good xp up to lvl 30 but to get back on track i killed him hundreds of times and every single time i killed him something dropped mostly wors and runes and other vendor trash but i remember well when i had my cleric there soloing him before when he went from 25 to 30 i never ever had him drop anything at all but one time he dropped some words and i thought they must have been some really uber words or really rare cuz it was all he ever dropped so maybe this eye is just a secret loot chance modifier and just isnt marked as such

Well, at least we now know this isn't part of a recipe. After the patch that labeled all tradeskill ingredients, this eye does not have that tag. Keep lookin for the quest, though, I'm sure there's one somewhere.
I was hoping that after 3 more months someone would have found SOMETHING! But still nothing. Daggonnit! Ah well, maybe time to dump it...
Almost two months since my last post and still nothing on this damn eye. Thank God for the extra bank slots with Ykesha, or I would have dumped it!

I've been scouring the web, and I can't find anything other than the posts below on this cursed glass eye. The recipe ingredient and the GLS/LS loot increase are the only mentions of what it might be. I have a post on the EQTraders forum to see if someone knows. I looted one a few nights back and don't want to trash it if it turns out it's some amazing part to some great quest or something. But considering it dropped off a recondite bandit, that's unlikely (although in the 2 hours my group was camped, and the hundreds of bandits we killed, it was the only one looted). Ah well. We'll see.

Been a whole 2 months and no one's found anything about this eye ... getting disappointed in all you EQers, lol. Anyway, I couldn't find ish either. if ANYONE knows ANYTHING ... please ... send something.

Ok I think i know! The eye is part of a recipe i think and i will find oout soon.

Nope - thought I had worked it out - but after experimenting I found I was wrong....
Thought it gave extra spell visuals, but turns out it was just because I dinged 25 the exact kill I looted the eye. - newbies huh? lol !
What on earth is it for?

Since getting the glass eye I have killed a few whisps in commons and found that I get a high percentage of GLS & LS now.
Since looting the Glass eye I've had 5 GLS + 3 LS and 4 BOLS. Where as before I was lucky if I found evn 1 Lightstone.
Anyone else had this? Or was I just like, Lucky?

I also found this in Paludal Caverns. Think I looted it off of Yelloweyes or a recondite cutpurse. No idea what it's for. I guess I will hold on to it until I know.

I was thinking this could be for some type of quest, since it is both lore and no drop. Anyone have any idea where it might start and what the reward might be? Post it up on here. Thanks.
