Was wandering the zone with my 21 ranger and saw em on track. (Conned blue to me) found him near tower? near the middle of the zone he dropped the ring:) TP server

Was running through when i heard some ooc chatter about Rhaotep. I hit track and Bam Rhaotep. Dead mummy got ring defaulted it to my traveling partner since he had told me earlier in teh week that he wanted to kill the mummy.

Last night on Thoulus Paulus server, my lvl 14 Human Ranger and a lvl 14 Wood Elf Druid took Rahotep down. He dropped the ring. I lost the roll and still ended up with the ring. That's what happens when u play with nice people. Rahotep conned yellow to me at 14 so i think he was lvl 15 not 16.Still looking for the sceptre though.

I decided to camp this guy after reading up a lot on this ring, the sceptre of rahotep, and rahotep himself. From the information that I gathered nobody was really sure when and where this guy would spawn or is it was a trigger spawn. So, what I did is sat close to the mid derv camp and sent the shout "if anyone sees rahotep please let me know....will pay!" and what do you know. 20min after sending this message and waiting I finally got a shout from someone saying that they saw it. Now, he spawned close to the mtn derv camp and around 7am game time. I ran just as fast as I could and finally saw him. Also, someone had mentioned in other post's that people couldn't track him and I can vouch for that. I'm a ranger and didn't pick him up. I con'ed him immediately and he was blue and I'm a lvl 17. I didn't take my time and started to take him out. We were neck to neck with health. Luckly I have a whip that prock's life tap. My luck struck and I got some health back and he went down. I got the scarab ring, jasper, and rune of proximity. I plan to camp the guy again and try to get the sceptre out of him. Hope this helps all of you...GOOD LUCK!

With a group of 10-14's and had one person scaraed we could not take him. I was grouped with a a bunch of kids who would "Hog Loot". I'm a cleric and I healed them for three hours and everytime I tried to get a loot, the where already on their knees before the dead hit the ground. Well, we killed him and I was sure to be on my knees and got the loot. Great ring for a Cleric.
By the way, I tried explaining to these guys that not being nice to you cleric is a bad thing. As you progress in Ever Quest, you rely on your healers. They would not listen. As a matter of fact, two of the agroed a Rec Con mob and brought him to me. In the middle of heals, I hit the Derv with Furor and these guys watch me die. They both had full health and had easily taken this guy 30 times before.
You know who you are, and you better be careful next time you group with someone.

i know the feeling but i'm a paladin. i have rangers and warriors out looting me when i out damage them which is really sad, but me and the cleric that was in my group decided to show them what its like not to get healed and take a **** load of damage....they died in less then 5 mins while me and the cleric sat back and watched (than we roasted the mobs to nothing in a few seconds) so peeps listen to me and the lady don't loot hog and KEEP THE CLERIC ALIVE!

And had to run from him once. I tried to log off and get there with one of my tougher chars,but he was gone before I got back. Both times I got him, he dropped the ring.

First, he gave his name on his first post. Second, you're really bright for a level 60 "Chnanter". Is that a new class or something? I wonder if it's any good.

I tracked this mob to the ruined tower near the zone into NRo (in-game night) he conned BTM at 16, and was an easy kill. I dont know how often he spawns, but it is rare...so rare that I cant find anyone else who has killed him. and regarding price, I have no idea, as no one can remember ever seeing this ring for sale...great loot for a low lvl tho)

blah, i have no idea when this guys spawns, but i know what he looks like. he looks like a mummy and seems to be a wandering spawn. i had the luck of bumping into this guy after zoning in to nro from oasis. i found him near the south part of the zone in nro..somewhere in the middle of it between the shore and the cliffs.

I have been searching for awhile on the Tunare server for this guy. He does spawn, but no one knows exactly when. I've talked to people who have killed him and one said that he was a trigger spawn, and that he could be triggered by killing all the mummies you can. The other said he was a timed spawn and that he spawned once every EQ year, which I think is 3 weeks. Anyway, I just wanted to share that since there isn't much info about that.
