Planes of Power
This is one of the only items Erudites can wear and not have that stupid hood or that gheyass teapot graphic, just the chrome dome of my bald melon. I will end up keeping this, even though I could bid on some good upgrades just for this fact...then again I have never played this game for the numbers.
Good question though....does anyone know the upgrades to this that have no graphic as well?

NO graphic on my human warrior.

No graphic on my high-elf paladin for both old and new models. Pressing the "dye" button on the inventory does reveal that a greenish/yellow tint is assigned to it.

Does this have a graphic on Dark Elves?
Confirmed no graphic. Sold one today (2/21/04) in the bazaar to a nice Half Elf Paladin who hated graphics. Price shown is pretty accurate. Had a guy want to buy it at 45k when I was AFK and had it listed at 55k. This morning the Paladin was asking in OOC if it had a graphic and I put it on and offered to refund her money (50k) if it did show a graphic. No graphic and she was happy. I had also put it on and it showed no graphic on me (Human Warrior). Very nice helm and especially for those who hate tin can head.

Has plate graphic on my warrior. Oh and its a fugly green puke color.
Drops off one of High priest Ultorr's guards. Seen 2 drop out of 2 quest cycles. so doesnt seem to rare as of yet.

Currently I am wearing a Cowl of Mortality, not for the haste as I have GoDS, but because it has nice stats.
I would switch to this in a heartbeat so I could pass of the Cowl to someone else in my guild who needs a decent haste item.

I posted this item, got it off one of ultors guards in CoD (ruins of lxanvorn). I used to wear the helm of the deep see, 34ac 35hp 5sta 10svcold. HP > all, between helms I may have lost 6raw ac, but I gain 26hp resists/mana which always help and a buff to other stats.

Trevelain, Gees will you quit whining and ******** about 1 INT point? Why don't you drool at the fact its 28AC!! huh? 28AC is better than any midlevel breastplate and definately better and 95% of the helms that are out there. 55 Raw mana plus 5INT gives you one cast of a 50+ spell during a fight.
As a 53 Bard, I will kill for that helm and I wouldn't flinch at the 1 less INT it doesn't have than wis. Not to mention that the other stats help ALL melee classes including bards and shadowknights like you mentioned.
Ladies and Gentlemen, Trevelain here has just proven to the rest of the readers out there that stupidity comes at all levels. Even 57SK's

So almost all the gear I want to buy with my warrior is more expensive for those useless stats, but I am sure that the 1 pt of intel hurts you more than the extra few Kpp that its sells for just because it has it in the first place...
