Dropped today from the Goblin King in Solusek's Eye in room to the left of where Lord Gimblox is supposed to spawn. (go through the door that the npc "CWG Model MA" is facing).
Was checking through Thurgadin for spell dops, when I saw this on the Butcher, BAM! Smacked down the 74pp in an instant ^_^
Now has a focus effect of:
Affliction Haste I
Affliction Haste I

Ok as a level 46 Wood Elf Ranger can I use this effect? Or is this a caster only benefit?
You can use it, however, Affliction Haste I will affect spells only level 22 and under. Affliction Haste II affects level 44 and under, Affliction Haste III would affect level 60 and under.

Yup... all classes with mana besides bard can benefit from the effect. As I have last heard, there is no official information on bards and focus items.
*Sigh* That's so wrong, excluding just bards from this whole focus item deal. I suppose they are trying to nerf our kiting skills a bit by improving everyone elses, but still, that's kinda wrong. We are after all a hybrid inbetween caster classes and mellee classes just the same as the Sk's, Pally's, Ranger's, and Bst lord's so why can't the bards also benefit from something everyone else in the game does? Our instruments provide us enhancements yes, as the focus items for the mage long before this such as the shovel enhanced their pet capacity, but now that they are increasing on the mage's capacity to enhance, then why not increase upon the bards as well?
Bard's are awesome and always have been, being able to sing a song that relates to any spells from any caster class. Plus the ability do this without mana and while running. I think their focus effect have been taken care of. I also know a 56 level Bard that duel wields weapons instead of an instrument, he is a badass puller, tank, melee'er; while he sings for speed, STR, health and others during a fight; and inbetween sings manasong, health and more. You cant beat this class, Verant must be trying to catch the rest of us up to them by the clas balancing.

Bard instruments acted as focus items long before any other class gained items with that ability. Bards being able to use caster focus items would be redundant.

It was my understanding that Verant would work on Bard Focus items after all the caster focus item issues were worked out. I don't know that for a fact tho, so we'll have to wait and see.
Have one of these and noticed the effect whenever I cast Snare. My server was down most of the day so I didn't see if it was changed in the latest patch.

Lore, by definition, is something you can have only one of, not, something only you can have.

you can sell lore items, the ones you can't sell are the now drop items. lore means you can't have more than one of them at a time
