Actually this as far as I can tell is not a key to the castle in CoM. The key to the castel drops from the same guy in CoM that this does, but is called A Stone Key.

I weild the Ulak, therefor I have the power! Dropped off the captin of the guard along with some shield and the bard coin all 4 times we pulled him. Not sure about it's use as a key but if you want to try it place the ulak on your cursor, walk up to the door, press the use hotkey which is usually the letter U. The non magic twin to this does drop off the blackhand guy in FoB, I just may get his so I can walk through towns dual weilding them, maybe while I practice baking hehe. BTW not sure if I'll ever use it as a key to anything, Double Master "Locksmith" here...
Found one of these on a skelly in EJ - also a Shiny Emerald (lore nodrop)

the one i got off Kerosh Blackhand in FoB appears to be identical to this one but is NOT magic, just lore/no drop, wonder if it will work as key too?

I hear rumors of this thing being a key I got one from the capt of the guard semms oddly out of place FS ulak admidst all these fine drops this crappy item appears if it is a key how does one use it?

This weapon also drops off Blackhand in the Mauraders cave in Field of Bone. He's 35 or so, and his head is for the Trooper Scale armor.
He was white to my 33 Monk

We have heard for a long while that the Fine Steel Ulak is a key for the City of Mist Castle. However, we have been stymied trying to get it to work, at least on the outside Castle door. The only way we have found to get in, is with a high picklock skill.
Does anyone have any more details about the Ulak?

I just got one tonight, and as far as I can see it's total ****** The only reason I didn't destroy it was cause I hoped it was for a kickass quest or something. Does anyone know?

I got one of Koresh Blackhand, 35 named spawn in Field of Bone. I hung on to it for a bit in case was for a quest. No idea why you would want one.

I have seen this item a few times now and each time it has come from the Captian of the Gaurd, The Capt is about lvl 40 give or take a lvl or 2, the Capt also drops the CoM anicent coin (bard quest)along with a crummy shield
the Capt is Undead.
