CH?

I'm a 65 cleric in a raiding guild. I use both Supernal Light and Supernal Remedy far more than i do CH at this point. Using CH in GoD sewers, or in BoT on an unslowed kriger, and you will watch your tank drop several seconds before your heal lands. On raids where mobs rampage or use AoE fears and stuns, fast heals are used instead of CH chains. I just got this mask tonite. 3 dropped off of Terris Thule. All 3 went to clerics, and all 3 of us are thrilled

The screen shot indicates Improved Healing IV, but the text indicates Improved Damage IV. Can anyone confirm if this was changed again, or did the information in the Allakhazam database get corrupted?

This item has Improved Healing IV, not Improved Damage IV.

The pictures are normally correct. Not only that but ID4 would be an unusual focus to have on a priest item.

Although being a druid I'd prefer the ID4 over IH4.
Very nice

Very nice item for all three classes. High end shaman find themselves more and more often having to spam heal Tnarg's Mending (upgraded chloroplast, 1300ish heal, cast time 3.8secs I think it is). The focus effect is nice for that, but flat out, 100 hp is just that much more mana for us to canny on.

Just recently got flagged for TT zone and can't wait till we start raiding there.

Dont know, just read up on the focus effect and it would seem that this would be better for a druid or shaman since CH is taken out of the picture (its restricted). Just my thought tho, however, great stats for all three.

Druid or cleric. Shamans are secondary considering only straight heals are affected, and shamans rarely perform a straight heal like chloroblast. As a cleric, I elixir and CH a lot, but not strictly so, especially on raids preceding the final boss. Druids heal in my guild almost as much and don't have the advantage of elixir, so more of their heals would benefit.
So if you are *only* looking at the IH4 on this, that's my take. You won't see me ever loot this though, since I not so long ago looted another major face slot item...that IH4 means only a little more to me than the 100 HP.

I play a 61 cleric. I find myself using CH less and less. I'd love this veil because it would affect supernal remedy (1450 HPs for 400 mana in 1.8 seconds.) This veil would retire celestial elixer for me and free up a spell gem.

All listed classes would love this item. Dont rule out clerics because of CH.

edit: supernal remedy heals 1522 HPs now (without AA bonuses)

This item won't replace celestial elixir for you. Supernal elixir will when you get to 62.

Its effect is also excluded from druid and shaman partial CH's, and heal over times like Torpor. I'd say cleric or druid, personally, would get the MOST use out of it, but all three would put it to good use, it'd come down to who was most deserving at a raid, in my book.

Just wanted to say.... that except for raids, I hardly ever use Cheal, sticking mostly to celestial elixir and spot healing casters with remedy or divine light. Pure exp grinding, Cheal is used about equally with my other heals, while raiding it is used almost exclusively (Cheal that is). SO.... I would still have to say that this would be better off on a cleric.... we don't JUST cast Cheal, ya know. Pure and simple, clerics cast more heal spells than any other class.... period.
Not saying a druid can't make good use of it, or a shaman either.... I would just have to go with which class needs improved healing most, or more properly, which class HEALS the most, and that is cleric imo.
I may be mistaken, but druid/shammy cheals aren't affected by this effect either, correct??? Therefore, the fact that clerical cheal isn't affected by the effect is poor reasoning as to why a cleric shouldn't get it. Again, any healing class, even a pally, would definitely benefit from this item.
Oh and btw, WOW what an item!!

I'd agree wit ye on this one, Vopier.

But the druid will be out trying to quad-kite things she shouldn't .. and not many groups are smart enough to bring a shaman along ("What we need shammy for? We got RANJIR!") .. so the cleric who is very group-dependant will probably be the one who'll wind up with the ring most of the time.

A shame.

There will most definitely be druids and shamans around when Terris Thule goes down.

btw, it's a veil, not a ring

Well, yes CH is excluded, but you know, if clerics had only CHs to cast, they would rarely have mana issues, with this spell being so efficient.

What does make them LoM in exp grind is when they have to keep the chanty taking a beating alive, or the stupid monk willing to show he can tank, or the poor ranger who snared 2 seconds too early and finally themselves, when so much healing led the mobs to hate them.

In raids, sure when the boss of the zone is looking weird at you,it's CH cycle time.
But on the road to him, when pullers want things to go fast and brings a lot of mobs in one time clerics are often healing a lot, and since mana is less an issue, they tend to play it safe, with fast and costly heals.

To sum up, i'd say, don't forget that clerics are the one and only true healers in the game, and that you can't skip their turn on this item only because ONE of their healing spells isn not improve by the effect on it.
