#REDACTED, Posted: Oct 30 2002 at 7:50 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) You forgot that alot of players are LAZY..before these PoK books came out (not everyone still has PoP to use them) zones like GD, gfay, etc that all had those 15min port spires to luclin STILL had alot of people offering 50-100pp for a port instead of waiting for 15min..if they can't even wait 15min and would rather dish out their cash for a quicker port..what do you think those that do have pop going to do ? all run to the nearest pok book? GD PoK book is close to EW zone..and velks zone is kinda far from it ;) thats even IF they even know where it is cause alot of players don't read the book that came with pop so they will just pay some druid or wizard for a port to wherever..EJ(no book near that zone) CS (no book near that zone) WL (no book near that zone ) :) iceclad..same thing..alot of places that people cant get to will still need ports ..those PoK ports only are near all the major cities but not to places like CS(for sirens grotto and ToV), WL(for PoG), EJ (for seb) or iceclad (ToFs, lodizal and stormfeather camps)..so no druids and wizards wont be unemployed for a very long time. =)

Oh, quite whining now. I see plenty of 'porters getting business out of the Nexus, and /ooc's in the same every few minutes whether there's anyone there to oblige or not. There are still places that people hunt that are nowhere near a Plane of Knowledge book - I start almost every soloing session these days dropping plat in a 'chanter's hand for Kei's Endless Intellect, and still more in a wizard or druid's hand to save me the tedious 15 minute run to Wakening Land. I can only imagine how long it'll take once I've started hunting in even more remote spots like Cobalt Scar, or Western Wastes, which is virtually unreachable without a friendly druid or wizard. In fact, prior to New Tanaan's opening, I could never be sure where to find a ride. Now I can always pop back to Nexus or /who to find a 'porter there, and have a much better chance of being able to donate my pocket change to you transport racketeers!

/agree aerowen, i still get heafty donations for porting ppl around in PoK (on wizzy :D) to places such as EJ, CS, and even NK, so yes ppl will still donate plenty if they really want to go somewhere

Stop saying it is... it is not.
Unless someone can post the real way to do it and that it can be confirmed dont beleive what you hear.

They did not put 2 upgrade for this for nothing

ok, I've gotten this piece, and put it (fully charged, not sure if that makes a difference) in a toolbox and tried combine with manabatteries 1 through 6, "cannot combine" for all of them. Would the person posting that this is rechargeable care to share with us as to how?
RE: rechargable?
# Nov 05 2002 at 3:40 PM Rating: Decent
Erm, forgive me if this is obvious to most people, but how would you recharge this?
RE: rechargable?
# Nov 06 2002 at 3:11 PM Rating: Good
The usual way to recharge a tinkered item is to put the spent item and a Mana Battery in a Toolbox, and hit Combine. This is a no-fail combine that non-tinkers can do.

Mana batteries come in Class 1 through Class 6. Verant has generally had it so the cost of recharging is roughly the same as the cost of an equivalent number of potions. So I'd start experimenting with Mana Battery Class 6.

Isn't there someone in PoK that offers to recharge items for you? I believe there is. If this item is rechargable, it would be best to start at him methinks.

I am not sure what you need to recharge an item. But there are Batteries in PoK. The evil side, inside the building, between the Nek and Oggok books. In the room to the left is a Gnome or assling sell many differant types of Batteries.
