got one in bazaar other day, and it looks GREAT.
Its got the dark purple look (not red MM shield look) LOL got it on my bard mule atmo- i thing this shield is a planar sk dhield ??? i mean hate or fear has a sk shield with same colour and skul ??? maybe i should lay off the marmite :)

Had it on my SK sence about 30, served me well. But at 46 it is time for an upgrade, the Planes call and those mobs hit HARD.

Tihs is a pretty nice shield. Would be nicer for rangers (and other dual wielders) if you could wear it on back (as most rangers I know don't use a shield), but who am I to complain. Not like everything should be tailor fit for my char anyway =). Definitely would be a nice grab for a pally, SK, or warrior who is using 1H stuff. For dual wields it just doesn't make sense to take unless everyone else has one or doesn't want it.

Posted: Oct 31 2002 at 4:16 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) a SK, paladin or bard would make the most of this. but the bard wouldnt have it equiped enough to get boost from cha. the 10sta is worth 50+hp alone for the SK or pally. any warrior or ranger useing this is kinda silly, who would use a single low dmg 1hs when they can use 2? now i know there will be times when select classes will need as mutch AC as possible, but hey war, ranger wepons mostly have AC on them allready. i guess it really comes down to who has what and who can make the most of a item, Not oo thats better than what i allready Dont use so gimme. aww sheet, lol i just noticed its not no-drop, i guess Everyone needs this, i mean we all have that alt named bazzar who will always need more. =-P
I find this shield fairly unimpressive. Its not that its a BAD shield, its just that Sarnak Battle Shields are easily comparable to this, and < 1k in most server Bazaars, not to mention free in Chardok - and don't have a rec level 50 to prevent being handed down to folks that could use em.
Rangers using Archery Mastery (assuming a haste item other than epic) might just find this usefull in encounters where high MR is vital, the Dex boost on the shield is nice I guess.

Um, last time I checked warrs got dual wield, just a heads-up. I know how odd it sounds for the only class that can only melee (I mean no specials like bs or spells, and no nifty kicks like monks, but not counting disciplines), but stuff like that happens.
warriors now have /shield don't forget...
Not sure how much damage this would mitigate while using it ....guess there's one way to find out :)
