The Hate arms I assume you are referring too are Vambraces of the Untamed actually came in post-velious when Hate was revamped. Statwise they are actually a little better than Thurg arms for shaman and droppable. Weak for Rangers and rogues though.

WEAK come on theres a pair of arms that drops out of Hate thats better than these and that Kunark expansion.

Posted: Oct 30 2002 at 9:56 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Not to flame that the classes that can use this shouldn't, but it seems to me that an item that is usable by a class that is a spawn off of another class, i.e. rangers, that item should be usable by the parent class, druids, then not only is the class that isn't on the list seeming jipped but they stick on shamy's who by all means should be allowed to use this, but instead of putting in their spawn/hybred class they put in rouges? I could see beastlords salyvating at this thing, though not to knock rouges for getting an item that does have stats that are important to them like dex, it just seems that for all the stats listed there could have been a better aray of classes selected to use these.
That logic makes no sense. Almost NO good ranger armor is druid wearable. Druid and beasties are both leather wearing classes. This is clearly a chani class item.
Rangers can wear sebilite scale mail also, and druids can't. Same with Barbed ringmail, etc.....
Keep in mind, that the ohter "parent class" to rangers is warrior, and rangers cannot wear most plate armor.
