got this bad boy for my dwarf pally.just put that undead proc spell on it and i have been hittin for 100+ at lvl 31 in unrest and mistmoore castle.
I picked this up for my level 35 pally last night on EM for 5p. Not 50p, not 500p, not 5000p, FIVE! Here is the kicker, it wasn't the only one at that price. The most expensive one was 999p, most were under 100p.
No thats pretty much the normal price for them now, 5 to 50pp.

I stopped using my Di'zok Imperial Katana almost completely now in favor of this weapon and the bash. I use the katana jus to lvl up my 2hs. It's insane how easily it drops. This weapon is choice.

The bazaar on my server was totally flooded with these things and getting one for like 20 plat was easy. No pally should be without one and I have yet to find a better weapon for the price. Looks cool too, so I've included a picture.

This weapon is absolutely awsome. Maybe I overpaid at 29pp!!! LOL (what an unbelievably low price!!) At lvl 31, 1hb skill 145 I'm hitting 60+ at times and double hits combined well over 100. PLZ no more posts on this weapon, before they find out how cheap it's selling for at the bazaar and nerf it.
I don't think it will get nerfed (thank God, because I love this weapon) because of the recommended level, which means unless youre fairly good level (30s) its an okay weapon which is stats about as good as any other weapon worth 40pp (or now 25 or even 10 hehe). Plus the fact that it is a common drop, AND paladin only which means 1 class out of 15 can use it.
It has been nerfed, but not in quite the way you might have thought... expect the quantity to dwindle quite a lot and the price to shoot up in the bazaar over the next few weeks....
Yes it was... this one I kind of agreed with. There were other items that I think they drastically over-nerfed and cost a lot of folks (myself included) some serious coin. Animated bait was obnoxious and people really can't complain about the nerf there, but things like Tacticians Bulwark were nerfed painfully, and folks that turned them in are out a good item which they turned in in good faith.

Hehe, if you were referring to it being worth like 10k tribute points that got changed quickly and now its only worth like 50pts.

I got one of these weaps for my pally He is onyl lvl 35 but Its awesome...Was using a CS This mace is definitly an upgrtade....With The CS I was hitttin in only the 20s but with this hes hittin for 40s and 50s and with a Plated Shield in Secondary bash helps too sometimes bashing up in the 50s also makes up for not using a 2hs and helps with fleeing mobs when your able to bash them and stun them =D...Welll Thats all I have to say...

Just liked to make a comment: These things are'nt all that rare. 2 guild groups at GY in CoD tonight have so far gotten 4 Circled Toe Bones, 2 Maces of the Fallen Crusaders and many diamonds and planar essences. Just a comment that if yo uwant to deck out your guild in some nice stuff, this place is pretty good for it.

Picked up one of these on Tholuxe Paels for 100pp in bazaar. My 1HB was at 0. Got it up to around 30 in a little over an hour. Then dumped the 25 training points I had in to it. Am now over 60 on 1HB. Sweet weapon, nice and fast, good damage as well. And you definitely can't beat the price!
I was given this at 38, by a friend of mine. At the time I was using the Vengeful Diamond Blade. Although My 1hb Skill was only 20, I opted to use this weapon as the Damage/Dely Ratio for me was better than the Diamond Blade. I have a 1hb skill of 200 now, it went up 180 in about 3 days. Now my Paladin is Pushing 42, and this is still an awesome weapon. Currently, I average 50-60 damage per hit, and hit quite often. Unless for some reason I can get a great drop in the Planes, I am sticking with this until I hit 55, and Get the Natures Defender. http://www.magelo.com/eq_view_profile.html?num=681237

I must add my voice to the cacophany of praise for this weapon. Although I don't get the impressive double-200+ hits from it that I get from my Argent Protector, I can still do roughly the same dps - not to mention the cast interruptions and added AC from being able to don a shield.
Whether I use the mace or 2hs Argent Protector when I'm MT depends on how much aggro I can maintain with just dps and Taunt: If I have to stun to keep aggro, I'll often choose the slower 2hs since I don't lose so many swings due to casting. If I don't need to stun, the extra AC from 1hb/shield combo is the wiser choice.
Of course, in groups with 3 other high-dps melees, I'll often chain-stun (as mana permits) anyway - even at the cost of my own dps - just to get the mob dead while taking little dmg to the group. Makes life easier on the healer once KEI has faded. =)
When fighting undead, a faster weapon is preferable for a MT'ing Paladin as well. Just throw on that good ol' Instrument of Nife and whatever haste you or a group member has, proc away for 240+ dmg, and get some attention and lovin' from Mr. Bones!

We were exping yesterday at Crypt of Decay zone-in, pulling puslings, knights, and maguses. Got two greater puslings in the mix. They are a pain to kill, cause they are 61, hit for double 600+, and aren't slowable. But if you want to continue killing stuff and getting exp, you have to kill these too. Both dropped this mace. So it is not like people try to get these on purpose. It's essentially Tier 2 yard trash drop.
I twinked it to my lvl 27 pally alt for practice, it is 11/25 for him, with 6STR, 4WIS, 17HP and 10SVD. In about 2 levels, it'll equal Centi SS, in a couple more will bypass Centi LS - and from there be his main 1-hander.

I feel sorry for the poor little guys who go out and hunt these things and spend all the time and effort to kill the mob (whether they want the item or not) and come back and try to sell in bazaar for big bucks, but find out it's worth crap and have to sell cheap or trash it. Probably why I don't go out and hunt things for items, because the price just goes further down and down until it's dirt cheap. Guess it's just the supply > demand. :-\ My heart goes out to all the people that farm the items and sell em to me! :-) Thanks, you guys save me a lot of time! Hehe
You got that right. I have had this item for sale as low as 100pp on Povar and it's still taking up space in my satchel. Are there no Paladins on this server or what? Look at the stats!! For 1HB weapon any Pally < 25 should have wood to the wall for this thing.
I guess it just goes to show that twinking is rampant and either this or better is just too easy to get. Selling to vendor if they will buy it.

This is sort of like the Netherbain Chitin insedent. I sold 4 of thoses for 250+ in a manner of minutes. Now i can't find a newbie with out one or better. I being a paladin did buy this for 150pp and i thank the merchant that sold it to me.

Recommended Level = Any lvl with proper class/race can equip, but stats are adjusted based on your level vs Recommended Level.

Yes, these sell for ridiculously low amounts based on supply. Every time we've had an xp group in CoD, each person in the group is able to loot one and many more rot since they're lore. Everyone then sticks them on their trader mule and unloads them at a very low price, since any paladin with a CoD key has better already.

I'm a level 52 Pally... picked one up on Povar for a mere 500 platt... I thought they forgot to put on an extra 0 or something. at 52 the only negatives are the bonus is only 9 and the hp is only +34... I can live with that. My problem is I've never used a 1hb, my skill level was ZERO and I was hittin in the 50's the first time I used it.... COOOOOOOL

Seems garunteed off this mob. other greater version is less common and drops ring. In about every 17 kills, one of these should drop at front. Granted, most people don't have the COD flag and that jacks this thing's price up well.

picked up this killer for a mere 500pp on the nameless couldn't believe it, i was using a goo covered knights blade as my 1 hander but this seems like a better deal and with the damage i put out with it i won't be putting it down for a good bit.

bought this for 1500pp last night in bazaar, level 15 pally and stats are 6 dmg 25 dly for me right now but heck thats still pretty decent and beats out most of the old world items cant wait till I get higher, I love POP, sends all the prices to hell, items with half this things stats cost more.

edited to add in it went to 7 damage at level 17 and at level 24 its 10 dmg according to the shaman that I linked it too in my group last night, awesome weap even below reccomended level

This weapon is pretty damn good, especially considering it's price. On Fennin Ro I have seen 2 of these in the past few days, one for 2k and the other guy wanted 4k. Same with windblade.. it is like 15-20k on Fennin Ro. This really pisses me off becuase of you can buy a windblade which is better then epic in dmg/dly for such a low amount of pp. Also it took me more then a year to save for crappy Sword of Mourning which I got for 10k - 16/27, 10dex 50dd/proc weapon. This is 1/3 the price i paid and 3x better, wtf couldn't they have put this item in sooner or something so i coulda paid 3k and got an uber item =(. All the crap I have seen from PoP is rec lvl though so if your under the lvl it loses some major stats depending on how much lower then the lvl you are. I am glad to see verant finally implementing more weapons for paladins though, even if it is after my time. I mean sk have had a dagger similair to this one (21/24 with stats) for a LONG time. As for 1hs v 2hs I honestly can't tell the difference when I am soloing. I do about the same vs melee mobs with both my 1hs/shield and my 2hs. I mainly use my 2hs when I am soloing melee mobs though and switch to 1hs/shield so I can bash casters and also in groups to help me hold agro better if I need to.

Got one for my Paladin for 2.5k...only 67 at 1hb but still i was hitting in to 50+ when i did hit. bashing for 50+s too..

This weapon can be equipped at levels lower than the recommended level. Some items can't be equipped at all until your level meets the requirement, but this is not one of them. My paladin is only 49, but he can use one of these now.
Trov. bazaar had 5 of these for sale last night. lowest was 6k.
This item is too nice for 6k, this needs to be fixed.
