Unless there are higher AC Beastlord wearable boots in PoP, these are the second highest AC Beastlord wearable droppable boots after Barbed Dragonscale.
They also have nice stats for a Beastlord, and my level 53 Beastlord is very happy to have bought them in bazaar for 1500p, particularly as he should be able to sell his old Iksar Hide boots for not much less.
A nice cheap upgrade (as nobody else wants them), hoorah.

Agreed, these are decent footwear for a BST. There is, however, another droppable that is more common, has one more AC, and is very nice IMHO. This is the Captive Coin Stone Sandals from LDoN. They're certainly fairly easy to find on Povar, and my BST is very happy with them :-)

picking up maan hp and an sv.. someone might be able to bear the 12 ac... for those. /shrug
after lookin at the stats i am real curius who would wear gear like this post lvl 53? only one i see even considering it are the beastlords, but then i have no experiance with that lvl range it just seems that after that much play time one could easily afford better bear much less quest or loot better. oh well, i'd stuff like this at 32, too bad there is the lvl restriction.
Tell you the truth I would wear it on my lvl 52 BST cause I am not part of a UBER Guild. I have a hard time getting the really good things that can be equiped for Beastlords. I would like to get either Thurg or SS Armor but am even having trouble getting everything together for Twilight Armor (You really need a Ranger or a Druid to track for this Armor). I am currently wearing Kolbold Hide and will be giving that to my Druid here soon cause its now not worth my wearing it cause of the new DoT that I have isnt affected by the Extended Affliction Focus that it has on it. I am having to find all new Focus items for me to use. I have looked into the upgrades to the current Focus items that I have and to get the upgrades I am going to have to tag along with a UBER guild just to kill the mobs that drop the items. So hehe I guess that I will just have to wait for a while to do any upgrades.

Tallon Zek has basically two decent guilds, and although I'm in one of the next best it's not like any present guild on TZ can take out ToV. Hell Pandemonium (current number one guild on TZ for you bluebies out there) even had troubles taking out the Emperor Ssra. Either way this would be decent now, but as a plate class I know we could get better at lower levels for footwear. Beastlords though don't have very many options for anything though.
