I'm sorry but these boots are possibly the worst item i've ever seen drop from a raid event. 20hp 20mana and +13 to two resists? COME ON! You can get more than that by forking out 200p in baz for a blue diamond anything. Just put 4 augs on stuff and there you have it, this item but dispersed round the rest of your inven so you don't have to give up some DECENT stats to equip these
The worste part about all these posts isn't that they are defending this item,..... well yes it is.
But nobody seems to realise that this drops off a lvl 68 mob, not a 65 and it doesn't even have poison resist, it's cold! If your going to defend the item at least take a look at the piece of crap before you do. The only use I can think of for this item is if you are dueling a shaman. But it these boots are your only defense than good luck.

okay, get something straight--when an item sucks as bad as this one compared to the effort necessary to obtain it, YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORK UP AN ELABORATE DEFENSE OF THE ITEM'S WORTH!
"well, it's actually great, see, because if the next expansion has a zone where you can only wear resist gear on your feet and no other slot, and you have to fight a dragon that AEs poison and disease, then these boots are the best! so please consider this vendor trash so i can buy it cheap and sell it to you same fools when you buy that new expansion and are dying against that magical dragon..."
shut the flock UP. THESE BOOTS SUCK! THEY BLOW! end of the story. you are a fool if you think they are great. i have too few bank slots to waste them on crap like this. my resists range between 100 and 200 unbuffed, and i don't have these boots. if these boots would make the difference, please kill me now instead of letting me suffer the need for the boots of lameness. my guild is a point-system guild, and i'll be damned before i blow any points on this stupid footwear. and if i DID somehow get them, i WOULD consider them trash to be sold, and make no mistake, one of you idiots who post in these boots' defense would make me a richer man, and you'd be proud of your new shiny lameass resist boots.

i for one would add these to my resist gear.....+13 to any resists makes them useful to their respective circumstance..... and hp/mana is always welcome on any resist piece.... maybe not the greatest, no, but definatly not low-end gear or vendor trash

Actually I notice a lot of new items coming out from POP has extremely high resistances to Disease and Poison (two of the most annoying resists out there). Good for nothing? Dunno, wait until more people get into Plane of Disease (Bertoxx) and zones with lots of poison mobs.
Will wait to pass judgement till then. BYTW, most pure casters don't have "droppable" shoes that are much better than that. Outstanding loot? No. Really awful? I don't think so.
Yea, I would probably wear these in place of m FT3 boots during say ... A trak raid or some other encounter where ya need that kind of resist. Not a bad boost for a slot that normally doesnt have "Great" resistances.
Good for nothing?? I challenge you to find a foot slot item for pure casters that has poison and disease resistance higher than this. Sure, this is probably a very situational piece of equipment, but if you want disease and poison resist in your feet and you are a limp wristed spell flinger, then I don't think anything is better. You can't expect every single piece of equipment that drops to be the absolute all-around best item for that particular slot, for every single situation. I hope you noobs do consider this vendor trash, cause I'll buy it from you for coppers and re-sell it to you later when you realize how useful it can be, for only a small mark-up, of course =) For those of you looking for actual useful info, keep these boots if you are lucky enough to get them.... you won't regret it. Just cause it doesn't have bells and whistles like FT 3 or mana/HPs out the sole, doesnt mean its a waste of inventory space. Pro-football players use different cleats for different turf conditions.... and err, so do necromancers (?) ok, that analogy sucked, but hopefully you get my drift
