aye, i also looted this today off a regular water elemental. Gave it to a guildie, whos birthday it was that day. I was the only one in the zone all day cept for the ocasional passers thru to Katta or Scarlet Desert. I admit to farming, but there was nobody there so i went ahead and cleared the island.

One thing i noticed, as i was looking for essence of wind for smitty work, i was killing all the air elementals i found and left the others alone. There comes a point where air elementals become rare spawns cause the other elementals were poping in their place. Even after the boss mob was killed. I finally figured this out and started killin water elementals cause they looked alot like air hehe. Then i ran out of them too, boss killed, no more water or air. HMMM so killed all earth elementals, WOOT WINDSTONES! tough to get on Morrell Thule. Wiped all the earth out , never saw the boss, nothin but fire elementals left. Well this is where i got pretty bored and decided to leave, lookin back i feel bad now leaving an island of fire elementals lol. Will go back and fix it later today lol.

Point is that camping only one kind of elemental wont work. you have to kill all types to get them to keep popping. The fire ones seemed a lil harder on my doggie, low fire resist i suppose.
but def doable.

Also if ya wanna flame then flame, as i said nobody in zone, if a grp came to hunt them i would have given them the camp in a heartbeat!

Actually, it's about right. The elementals are good experience for 30-35s hunting in a group on the island. At that level, what are your choices: kill hundreds of mobs in OT and get a pearl earring as a very rare drop or kill hundreds of elementals in TS, and get stuff like this.... think about it.
