Actually, Peregrin can drop 4 items including this, the War Drums of the Rathe, Flowing Moss Mantle, and the Clay Bracers of the Golem.

Not that this item is perfect for a cleric (the good ones rarely need to melee) but even so it boosts all the classic cleric stats. Seems a shame they are excluded from all the great new AC wisdom gear.

It has a 'melee' effect on it, that is why it is listed for melee classes. It would definately most benefit a hybrid.
I don't understand your comment about 'cloth armor class' as this item is useable by leather, chain and plate classes.
18 AC is pretty craptacular for a 65 req belt dropped in an elemental plane. There's a bunch of cleric useable, 25-30 AC belts that are easier to obtain.

ROFL, I challenge you to show me ANY cleric that is in these zones that didn't reach their WIS cap long before POP.
It's like whining about a priest item that adds stamina and has good AC that's not warrior useable.....

Any clue what the effect is? Figuring it would be something like fearless, considering the name, but who knows? Considering where it drops though, I would guess it to have regen of some sort & possibly an attack or AC mod...
