Kael Quest Info

The quest is simple. You kill dragons in West ToV and get an Ancient Leather armor piece to drop. Then you turn them in in Kael along with gems.

Check out this site with info:

Getting the Ancient Leather is not so simple. Killing dragons requires a skilled raid of 30 or so people. Most guilds regularly hit WToV until their entire team is outfitted in Kael quest armor. Then they switch to NToV for Skyshrine armor.

Once you've got Skyshrine armor, you are ready to hit Luclin bosses and Vex Thal.

I highly recommend joining a WToV guild if you've never raided before. Taking down 20 dragons in a night is insanely fun.

you're mistaken there. both in west and north drops kael quest armor parts, HoT is where you go for SS armor . besides, you usually do SS armor first ( since you can still go past Sontalak then )and only when you're done there, you will go hunt in NToV ,and get some kael armor on the way as well

Has anyone done quest to get these?

if so can you post quest info. thanks

As to if these are good or not, the AC alone is worth getting, 2 ac better than the Skyshrine leggs and with the added agi, that should give you another couple ac points on top, looking at 19-20 ac. If i were not high enough to goto HoT, i would get these but if you compaire the two side by side, i would probably go with the skyshrine if your 54+, that +5 mana blows it for these leggs, just my opinion.

The legs are very decent for a mid 50's Beastlord. My 52nd Vah Shir Beastlord uses Brown Chitin leggings right now.

# Oct 05 2002 at 10:08 AM Rating: Decent
Is it just me or does it seem you can get better items...?

Maybe for a BST under lvl 30 this would be a great item. But by the time anyone is getting into Kael they probably have better. I agree with you.

Just curious really. Thanks.
