I got this last night... I am a necro. The stats alone are insane... I get about 165-170 HP put of it.
#REDACTED, Posted: Nov 03 2003 at 1:01 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Could you change it so that I can show that my druid has this item please?

This item is now useable by Druids (and Shaman and Clerics I think). I got one in VT the other week.

Did you guys not notice FT4?

And the stats make no difference, most casters would kill for the 125mana alone, FT4 is the cherry on the cake as you call it.

FT 4 > 125 Mana
#REDACTED, Posted: Sep 18 2002 at 12:27 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) It's got great hps and mps, great disease and magic resists, stamina on top of the hps, flowing thought, alteration mod AND dexterity... what more could an uber caster want?
# Sep 18 2002 at 6:42 AM Rating: Decent
Actually by the time you can get this cloak most Int casters will have their int maxed already...this cloak adds a lot of nice stuff which includes mana and wis is just a cherry on the cake. If this cloak had nothing else but the ac, mana, and hps it would still be pretty uber.

from what i remember reading, dont remember where, wis helps determine your resist to mind altering spells, regardless of class. so it IS usefull to int casters
#REDACTED, Posted: Sep 17 2002 at 8:36 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Hmmm...Why couldnt they add the priests class to this??.../drool...O and I dont play an int caster, so I dont know what spells in the alteration class they cast. So I cant say anything on that one.
#REDACTED, Posted: Sep 18 2002 at 3:36 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) enchanters specialise in alteration and about 100% of the buffs they cast during raids etc are alteration based.
#REDACTED, Posted: Sep 18 2002 at 6:46 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) necros most power dots also deal with alt
#REDACTED, Posted: Sep 17 2002 at 6:40 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) this is such a good priest item, especially for the clerics, who keep the rest of them alive at higher lvls....FT 4, 15 wis and a 3% mod to alteration? the casters only use int for a few things... so what were they thinking by making this INT CASTER ONLY?!?!?!?!?
# Jan 18 2003 at 12:54 PM Rating: Decent
This post is not to bash or flam anyone out there, especially clerics, whom I dearly love. The mod to alteration is a very nice thing to a wizzy. Our evacs are based on alteration, and absolutely nothing is worse than when you have your skill maxed, and your party is getting tore up, and evac is called. You manage to complete the cast, but nothing happens except a little message appears saying "Your gate is too unstable and collapses." Granted, the random number generator is a very evil thing, but this mod will help because our cap is 235, but with mods it can reach the hard cap of 252, and thereby decreases you failed message on really important spells.
#REDACTED, Posted: Sep 17 2002 at 6:55 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) You don't ask the good question.

hp=really good
mana=really good

why wisdom on an item usable only by int casters?

grats to those who recieve this great item.

First of all, chances are 99% that any int caster that gets this item already has 255 int, and it wouldn't really matter if it had 150 wis on it, let alone 15. But my guess is its a sad attempt at humor.

Yeah but new cap is 355 so int would help
