Huh?

Verant, please explain to me how one who's profession it is to heal others (cleric) would be called a "plague raiser", even by those incomprehensible gnomes!
No one ever said it made sense

Same way Innoruk, Cazic-Thule, and the rest of the nasties have clerics. Of course, they also have Necromancers, which are pretty much anti-clerics, but if you've ever been fighting a MoB while its cleric was heling it, you know that HEALING can be EVIL!

I don't know how many times a Dark Elf Cleric has healed me right after shouting "Be HEALED by the power of HATE!"

Whatever....I'll take a heal from anyone :-)

It is the clerics job to spread the word of thier god, much like priests. These SHOULD be spreading disease, but hey how would that look to the people they group with?

Highpass: Dusk, A group of adventurers is battling the Shralok Clan (Monk, Wizard and Cleric)

Gnome begins the encounter by casting his personal aid spells on his companions.

A monk gets hit pretty hard by a Warrior of Shralok. She then gets healed by her gnome companion. Suddenly there is this terrrible itch between her shoulderblades causing her slow down and get hit more often.

Wizard looks to help out by raining fire down upon the enemy, but ends up hacking an wheezing on his knees.

All the while the little fellow is grining from ear to ear as he runs for the border of the Shralok's area of control.

Every race, be it a rural or civilized, needs someone to heal their own warriors (etal) in times of battle. Rural races have their shamen, city-folk have their clerics. As was said, it is their job to spread the word of their god, but their god would lose many strong fighters if he allowed them all to die out without healing. And if they all died out, then he would have no one to worship him.

True I didnt think of that at the time but consider this: (I am going to reference D&D here, so everyone who doesnt like RPG's go away)

Gruumsh The One Eye
God of the Orcs
Grants healing powers to his clerics but disallows the casting of healing spells on any but themselves. No one else is worthy enough. If you can't handle combat, don't fight.

Yes the pic has it right, for the Plague KNIGHT Breastplate. This is supposed to be for the Plague RAISER Breastplate... They just entered the wrong pic for it.
