dont know 'bout you..but im weak and cant afford to have 5.5 wgt on hands instead of the 1< wgt of raw silk...
good newbie item though, get a magician friend to summon them up, you'll get alot of compliments...even had people who wanted to buy them )

These gloves, although heavy are one of the few gloves that show on spellcasters.

What other gloves look good on spellcasters? I really need to finish my outfit. =)

Have you tried Gem Inlaid Gauntlets? A nice 8 AC, +3 INT I think, and gives a banded/chainmail appearance.

Actually, they look like your hands have a bunch of sores on them. This is actually the gems of the gloves, but due to the color they used, looks like sores.
