Damask Gloves  

 

All damask items have exactly the same AC as their raw silk equivalent. Only difference is they're magic, which doesn't really mean anything except for the gloves. If you want to punch willowisps, you can with the damask gloves. Also, some damask items weigh slightly more, but not by much. Since these drop off of magicians in Najena, which are between levels 15 to 20 or so, by which time casters probably have better or just as good armor anyway, I doubt it's very worthwhile to acquire. I own a pair merely because I saw a merchant selling it when I started equipping my character with money borrowed from my main. Was sold for about 4pp, as I recall. Most damask items don't have a graphic, the onesthat do look just like the equivalent leather item. Unless you're concerned about appearance, I'd just go with raw silk instead. You can easily make it or buy it cheap.

Can anyone tell me what these look like? I am curious about all the damask stuff. Does it look like leather? I have a lower level Mage friend who I think would look rad in the non-robe look. I am just wondering if these could do that.
