I might be crazy but I'm pretty sure these are also a lightsource on par with a lightstone. It doesn't say effect but I see a change in dynamic lighing when I equipt these on my DE Necro. Nice item of the hard to fill caster handslot.
BTW, all the splitpaw items are light sources. same are the casters shields (ie the glowing ones)
Many items also act as a lightsource. None of them have it listed as an effect I think.

If you wanna know were he is go To http://www.eqatlas.com and press Atlas. it will take you to a list of maps. click on Unrest and it i'll show you a map and all the spawns. Great site I have a map and Beastary of all zones.

i was goin to get 1 of these with my 30 rog and twink my necro with them and was wondering where he is to get these and if they drop alot

Im trying to get these now, as my int has hit 196 (going for dustcryers ball, and whitescaled legs for the other 4 int) and i'm aimin to get as many mana items as possible to increase my manapool past the 200 cap--once i get these and duscryers i'll have about 200 mana in items--more than enough for another nuke or 2.
just a thought, they're not that newbie of gloves =)

I got given these for free in gfay, the guy who gave them to me said he was using them until lvl 50, nice. Probably not worth 89pp, but a nice item for newbie spellcasters (which is wahat I was).
