Anyone know if you can use this helm for a Pally?
It doesnt say must be equiped so can i just put it in an inv slot and right click it?

All Kunark armor is "Must Equip" armor. So the answer to your question is No.
This Helm has been priced at 1000 to 1200pp in my server. Today, i got lucky, saw one selling for 100pp, and i grab it. Wonder if the trader missed out a zero while pricing it. Anyway, it's really a deal.
damn i luv the bazaar now. The ppl who try t oundercut ppls pireces make it better for us buyers. Got these for 650pp and looks good. I am only lvl 44 tho! ( but with 1 lvl to go for unlimited, unfizzling superior camo its worth it. Also the AC 18 is nice too for the moment. Altho can u use it to cast on others? i cant wait for the rest of the armour. it'll rock

I am glad the pricing is coming down on Tolan's stuff. So far, I've picked up the Tolan's Helm, guantlets, and vambraces for 1500pp, a Rallic pack, and a perfect owlbear pelt. Also, I'm borrowing a Tolan's bracer.
As far as value, the effects are worth the mana, fizzle free, and spell slots they free up--Superior Camo, Snare, Stinging Swarm. The bracers summon 20 arrows at a time (no rent). Ok, so I look like I have a sack over my head (haven't looked at the Luclin model yet), and people call me "The Rocketeer", but I'm happy.

Picked one of these up for 500pp, nice item, considering I can't cast camouflage inside, and we don't get superior camo until 49(am 45 at the moment). Graphics can be a little funny though, I guess, unless you have a matching BP, which is the same browny colour, otherwise this helm does stand out quite a bit :)

Im a lvl 33 ranger and ive heard of this tolans, i saw a guy selling the helm and i offerd 1k and got it. The AC is more than my bp or legs, the effect dont work but hey for 1k i still believe its worth that. I look kinda stupid all green and then big brown helm lol.

I just got this badboy atop my skull and there's not much that can match mana free invis other than being able to cast indoors. I gave 2k for mine and feel that it's a very good investment since I can travel alone to some places that I couldn't before without having to have a caster along to cast invis on me. That fact alone make's the price well worth it because I tend to be a loner at times and wanna see the world. Admittedly the cast time is quite long but hey, No mana involved. Get these! Get them today.

Looks different on different races. I'm a half elf, so I got the bucket look instead of the one in the picture above. Sounds like you're talking about the same look.

Yesterday, on Luclin server, i was quite lucky, just zoned in to FV from DL and saw auction WTS Tolan helm, then i replied and price? and fellow ranger halfelf told me "1500pp" , so made a deal. Its nice looking and good ac helm, good improvement for my Kylong warhelm [which i had been wearing for 25 lvls;]
Im 46 and it procs superior camo so probably proc lvl is 46 as its usual with all kunark ar and weaps.

im a level 40 ranger who recently traded an fbss for this helm and 4k, i know this was a good trade but what i want to know is what level it procs? can anyone enlighten me?

Assuming all these types of armor work the same, you should be able to right click to activate the effect at 45th lvl. I know it worked on my ES Gauntlets at 45th...

It's a rt clickable effect that works at lvl 46.

I heard/read somewhere it was level 45.
Bought this last night for 6kpp. Cleaned out the bank to do it, but to have SCamo before 49 PLUS the AC is nice... heheh
I don't mind looking funny with a bucket on in dungeons. I'll just keep my Froggy Crown for social functions. ;)

Just an aside. This is a pretty funny indication of how the EQ economy crashed on (most) old items. This chap spent 6kpp about 111 months ago. Now, at least on EMarr, the price is a rock-solid 1kpp every day in EC. S
