have razzed the muddites for days and no med. quality ore......alot of clay thats all
I've had a couple ppl tell me that one can smelt down FS weapons into MQ ore but no one seems to have a recipe to do it. Any one else heard of this or is it just someone's day dream?

You smelt FS to make High quality ore.
Receipe is:
FS weapon
Water Flask
Depending on the FS weapon will depend on how many small bricks and pieces you will get.

where does this drop?
According to one of the posters in the "Block of Medium Quality Ore" listing, both small and large bricks of MQ ore drop off of Muddite Minors and Muddite Elders in Beholder's Maze. Whether that's true or not, I haven't checked yet... I'll probably be doing that this afternoon. =^_^=

Edit, 3 days later: The Muddites DO NOT drop MQ Ore at all. Don't waste your time... just buy the MQ Ore from merchants.
