My Guild was the team that won the FF. I'll admit it's not what we had hoped on winning. But oh well. Doubt the non-stats will change in it.

How did anyone else get this item? We got this via winning the Livequest, and was thought this was a unique item only we won.

I suddenly don't feel so bad about not winning...

Anyway, for those that haven't been to a FF yet, there is a Live Quest that they hold at the fan fairs.

Basically, each server has teams of 10-14 people, you run around the hotel grounds and talk to NPCS (usually GMs and Sony employees), they give you clues and puzzles, and you complete the puzzles, quests and gather plat.

With this plat, you, first find, then buy pieces for an overall quest.

Only 3 teams completed this quest due to the location of the last NPC, but overall it was still alot of fun and chaos.

Oh, and alot of beer was duly consumed. Before, after, and during.

People at the Fan Faire in Boston weren't too happy about this being the reward... previous rewards for the in game quest have ranged from the staff/sword of the gathering, to getting your name put into a quest. Winning something that mages can summon the equivalent of is a bit of a disappointment.

I dunno. It's not uber but neither are staffs or swords of the gathering. This would be a cool filler for the ammo slot. And, clicky toys are always fun.

I've pulled with a firework before. It wasnt on purpose, but it worked.

It was the one with the bolt-type effect, that might have been part of it.

Magi's can summon fireworks and spin the bottle. Although this one has unlimited charges the Magi's are a one shot deal.

I saw a GM use the Firework effect. It's very cool.
