Great item for rangers to keep in their backpacks until they get something with a better improved healing. That extra 20% may not seem like much to a pure healer class, but to us it's a godsend.

Any one think that a lvl 39 pal thats pretty strong can solo the west karana camp?
Improved healing

This helm now (6/5-2002) have "Improved healing 1". Every healer below 24 (I think) want one now.

this is basicly the same as Zaharn's Coronet except the Zaharn's Coronet also has mana +25, and the Coronet also got the improved haling I.

this item looks really cool when you were it

#Anonymous, Posted: Jun 14 2001 at 7:36 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I like beer
#REDACTED, Posted: Jun 08 2001 at 9:06 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) My level 6 Monk just bought this item cheap. It looks goofy like a banded helm with a pointy tip and shimmering little wings on the sides. A low weight monk helm would be better item because this has a +3-6=-3 weight carrying effect. However, the +3str does add to my Attack which offsets the weight. The +5AC is a definite boost and keeps me from dying so much.
Why does everything have to do with Monks?

Why does every item have a comment about it being either a) good for monks or b) bad for monks?

All of the other classes don't care !
#Anonymous, Posted: Oct 02 2001 at 1:52 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Yeah, especially this one - which is clearly and obviously one of the worst Monk helms in the game.

#Anonymous, Posted: Mar 02 2001 at 4:45 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Is this visible on most magicians?? Or more importantly, is it worth buying?

It is visible as a helm on mages. Appears like a banded helm. Problem is that the Wt is 6.0, so the 3STR won't help you much when you're adding another 6 to your weight.
#Anonymous, Posted: Mar 15 2001 at 8:03 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Yes, it has the same graphic as the runed circlet, a metal type helm. My mage wears this item to increase str so as not to be overencumbered. Int items can be found everywhere for every slot there is. The helm is a nice str adder...

Why would a mage even remotely desire this item? STR doesnt really help a mage or if it does you are doing something wrong.

I dont think thats classified as a healing spell to be clear. That is a Re-Summon of the elements... Which I dont think is classified as such. It might be cool, but Id think it under something like Conjuration or Alteration. Possibly something like burning affliction might effect that? Id have to look. Id think a focus effect would work on that.

You are wrong, It is classified as a healing spell. All your renew element type spells are.

Especially at higher levels (though I've had my circlet of mist which has equivalent ac for the last 20 levels) str only helps to increase carry weight, and since this PoS weighs 6 lb.s anyhow... stick with circlet of mist, mages, at least until you start getting planar or velious quest helms.

Obviously, th' lad's a wee bit skewed in 'is thinkin', else 'e wouldn't be worryin' if'n it shows up as coverin' 'is melon! But, in 'is defense, STR is indeed an attribute some like to increase. 'specially us....er,.....THEM loners. Y'know, the sort that finds their pet's conversation a bit more mature than, say, a n00b's. Then, m'friend, STR and AC are somethin' to take inta consideration when yer shoppin' 'round.
