more than likely considering all focus items, which means it is towards magic caster's spells. This would mean that a mage that can cast haste, it would make that spell either last longer and/or give it 1 to 4% extra in haste. Like the enhanced healing I that gives a random 1 to 5 extra points when casting heal spells.

Enhancement haste Has nothing to do with casters that cast Haste or Haste at all. It makes spell casting times reduced for "buff" spells It lowers the casting time for thing like breeze, Shielding, et. al. Reanimation haste works the same way but for Summon spells. Its better than Spell haste by, I think 10% more but only for the certain spell type. There is also one for DoT's too.
So what does this Enhancement haste I supposed to do? Is it a haste item? And what percentage of haste is it, if so?
Also, not so uncommon, as stated before. Killed all the EvilEyes, and their keepers, this item dropped 3 times in just a few minutes.

This item now has the focus effect of: Enhancement Haste 1 (Worn) since the 06/06/02 patch of Focus effect items.

As of the last Patch a new effect is added... Something like a Haste effect (Rune I) Not sure what it means but every 10 seconds says Cat Skull Hat Glimers Noe
It seems this drops most commonly off the Picklaw enchater goblins, such as the Pickclaw Thoughtshapers and mindrippers. It's fairly common.
BYW, anyone know if iksar monks can wear the treant fists, or are they still human only? If I can use them, I have 3 out of the 4 cat bones needed for the quest anyway, the rest would just be legwork. If I can't use them, I don't want to waste my time camping for the goblin alchemist in Misty Thicket, but if I can, they're better than gem inlaid gauntlets. I'll try for the gauntlets either way, because even if my monk can get the fists, I can give the gauntlets to my enchanter.

The stupidest cap...we're talking level 22 and its no drop..gimmie a break! Get lumberjack's or savant's cap.

Umm...this is a monk quest item. It isn't sought after for it's stats. It is one item needed for the treant fists quest. It is no drop so the monk realy has to "do" the quest to get the item.
Excellent point. If you ever see a no drop weapon or piece of armor that has really crappy stats for the level of the mob it drops off of, 9 times out of 10 it's a quest item.
I found several on the Pickclaws in Runnyeye today. They seem to be fairly common or I was very lucky.
