good luck on finding a 29+ cleric of mith marr? gee, i didnt know i was such a rare find. on solusek ro i have imbued stacks and stacks of diamonds for people for various projects [as well as for myself for faithstones and this sepecific armor]both guildies and customers.
and i am far from the only cleric of mith marr on the server, i can think of at least 10 more of 40+ level...what was harder was convincing an enchanter to stand there with my smithskill mule in the bank and enchant 8 pack full of ore...so i paid one with a stack of imbued diamonds;-)

Ok, to clear a few things up :
1) The Luminant armor isnt' new...it has been around awhile
2) There is nothing to do with Velium anywhere in this armor]
3) I have made bracers and gaunts with a smithing of 173, so while the BP may trivial out over 200, it isn't that hard to make, the new PoP stuff is a lot harder.
4 EQtraders lists the trivials on all pieces less than 250

You're confusing this with imbued field plate, or Enchanted full plate.
The trivial on this is OVER 250. A 250 smith does NOT get the trivial message. (Note: eqtraders says over 250, not less than)
It DOES use velium.
To make infused rings, first you must make velium rings:
large brick velium, file, coldain velium temper (in regular forge)
Then you must infuse the rings:
velium ring, celestial temper (bd temper), enchanted large brick of HQ ore, and smithy hammer. (in cultural forge)
While this is not as "New" as the pop armors, it came out with luclin, and on many servers, its still pretty rare.
BTW, it sure as heck isn't easy to make. I am a 227 smith, with geerlock, and failed 7 straight attempts on Luminant heraldic boots. I ended up with a total of 4 successes out of 17 attempts.
However, I should add that this puts my lifetime record on heraldic armor at 12/35.
I seriously doubt that you made two pieces of this at 173 skill. If you did, consider yourself lucky (go buy a lottery ticket, your chances of winning are better than 2 successes on heraldic at 173 skill).
Last thing, from what I hear, PoP armors have a higher success rate than heraldic.

All the new cultural itmes should only be attempted by a grandmaster smith unless you have tons of money to burn. It takes a reinforced velium ring, which is crafted by combing a velium rign with a large brick of enchanted HQ ore and celestial temper (which takes a blue diamond). You combine 1 imbued ring, 1 enchantd jointing (another large brick of enchanted HQ ore), leather padding, a full plate mold, an imbued diamond (good luck finding a 29+ cleric of Mith Marr) and royal temper in the Qeynos Royal forge. Only the Qeynos Royal forge will work. And the trivial for the combine is above 250 skill level.
