I checked out different spot for this. Lavastorm has Rock Dervished and fire elementals together on a spawn rotaion. So you will want to kill those 2 mobs to cycle through more fire elementals. They are on a 50 seconds respawn timer. I did that for a little bit but the drop rate was kinda trash. So I went to Arcstone to kill firetails... They seem to have a really good drop rate and I think they are a better source.
In Relic, a supply runner (fire elemental), can also drop this.
"a firetail emberblade" in Arcstone also drop this.

Now drops in Arcstone off of the various Fire mobs. I'm guessing it has new uses........

the "essence of fire" also drops of the lava elemental in sol A just thought youd like to know

i have gotten these in Najena as well. will the ones from najena work for the mage epic?
No. You're confusing "Power of Fire" with this item.

Yes they do. And it's a lvl to attain around 15 or lower. Easy supplies for great stuff ^_^

I have hunted Sol A in vain for these as the explanation above states. I have killed most everything in the zone but the little gnome robots and the elementals--guess I try those next. Has anyone found them in Sol B or Lavastorm??
They drop off of fire elementals anywhere they are found. I have picked them off of fire elementals in Lavastorm, Najena, and Erud's Crossing.
If a fire elemental has something this is almost always it.

I find these to drop off the lowbie fire elementals in Lava very commonly.

Used for making Fiery Temper which is used to make Fiery Forged Weapons using the Fiery Ore. Depending on the drop rate, would be a good way to skill up smithing from around the 120 mark to 150 or so. Not sure just when Fiery Forged Weapons trivial.
