Ok, I have killed about 20-30 of these things, they are VERY hard at lvl 32-35...it would take us a full group to take one out....they have AE poison or something, if your next to them when it goes off, it hits for 100+ damage...I dont really remember the points, that was like 10 lvls ago...but what I do remember is that they were hard, deffently not solo'able for most melee classes...they also have some cool *** attack that will send you FLYING across the screen so fast...one second your backstabbing it, next second your 30feet away from the mob while it SLOWLY comes towards you, they look like little black drakes, idencticle to the ones on gfay...they hit from any where to 30-90's, they usually drop crap loot, we had some boots and sholders drop, which I lost in a roll, they thing that kept us hunting them is that they drop Talons and Hearts, which you turn in to Dvinn(in the ruins) for extra EXP and about 5-10pp a pop, they are No-Drop, Lore Items, so make sure right when you get one to go turn it in, they usually droped everytime and it is like double the exp for you and your group...some times tripple if they droped both heart and talon...oh yeah, they also move VERY slow, if you find your self in a jam, you usually can out run them to the zone with out sow...although I would recomend it because of that damn poison spell....it really hurts, and he does it like 3-4 times a fight...they are found near back ent to fort, although since I have started my druid(25) I have yet to see these guys on track anymore...it kinda seems like they just apeared out of no where...droped some neet stuff, gave a good fight and went away...well thats all I remember...oh yeah, I am on the Ayonea-ro server also...

There is or at least was (haven't checked for awhile) an NPC in a fort between Cab and the lake named something D'Vinn. He was red to a 45 last time I checked him. DE but indiff to a HEF Bard in natural form. Anyway he offered up quests for deathwing talons and hearts. Said he'd reward you if you brought them to him.
As I had never heard of a deathwing before I filed this in my useless info spot of my brain. Anyway if these still pop on your server, I'd go talk to this NPC and get some goodies while you can.

I have fought and killed the deathwing hunters on ayonea-ro they hang around the sarnak fort a lot they look like forest drakes in Greater faydark I don't know if they spawn anymore they were supposedly part of a GM event but if they do still spawn I am going to hunt them though that 75point poison spell they toss at you is harsh

As far as I know there aren't any Deathwing Hunters in LoIO. This is probably a legends items that isn't tagged as such... I'm tired of legends people submitting items but neglecting to submit them as Legends.

Don't get me startede on legends people. It is soooooo useless to get legends in the first place. 40 dollars a month could get you so much more than better items. For one thing you could get multiple accounts a month, and solo with multiple classes and double box or triple box. Or you could get a cable connection if you don't have one. Or a number of things. They are all stupid.
