got a couple in bazaar one day, was 1p each so thought what the hell, might equip them on my monk sometime just for laughs. 'what weapon you using' 'sacks of rocks'.
I just handed off a set of these to my 44 monk ( Leftee Deddeye) to use at parties and social gatherings. Sure they are not as good as his staves of shielding (17/28), but hey, when you REALLY want to insult some lamer mob that deserves a humiliating death in front of his friends, what better way to deliver the message than with a pummelling from a monk with TWO sacks full of rocks! Nevermind AC penalty, and loss of firepower. And sure, they are heavy as hell for a monk, BUT > the fun value ALONE makes it so worth it to snag a set.
Mostly they sit in the bank, but when the time is right, they get dusted off and put to good use. Great nOObie gift too, for them waanabe lowbie monks to play with.
sure, any beastlord can punch, kick, stab, or smash...
but nothing gives me that warm, vah-shir-right-out-of-the-dryer soft fuzzy feeling as bustin' skulls with a sack full of rocks....<cuddles with lumpy well-used bag>
Went into Jaggedpine with my level 7 monk, through the BB entrance. Bought 2 of these babies from a gnoll merchant for less than a silver apiece! Pretty nice given the price.

ISNT IT FUN TO TYPE IN ALL CAPS WIT NO PUNTUASHUN AN ALL YER WERDS MISSPELLED SO NO 1 CAN READ IT I LIKE MKN STUPH UNREADABLE CUZ IM A MORON AND ITS FUN AND IF U CAN'T UNDERSTUND MY UB3R L33T SP34K THEN U SUX0RZ
/sarcasm off
Now seriously, lay off the caps and learn to type intelligibly.
Or have a sack full of dog crap, and have a mage summon fire and set it on fire and fight with it.I guess all you would have to do really is just drop your flaming sack-o-crap on the ground near the mob you want to attack. Would kindof act as fear.
This may not be the best weapon, but it reminds me of the scene in "Out for Justice" when Steve Segal puts a cue ball in a towel and then beats everyone senseless.
Most... hilarious... scene... EVER!!! I watched that over at my friend's house, we were both laughing at the complete stupidity of the sound effects. When he hit people in the face with the cue ball sock, instead of making broken bone sounds it would make a sound of someone 'breaking' when playing pool! So retarded it was hilarious.
The ratio/weight even for a BST is horrible - at this level Monks/Beastlords fists are a better ratio all be it slower - My level 46 Monk has max'd out HtH/Double Attack/Dual Weild so these are useless - what monk or Beastlord what to pull aggro off the tank anyhow.
According to this site and Monkly-business.com there are only 8 weapons with the same delay and 3 with better delay than this weapon. All do have better ratios but they are all much much harder to obtain. This would be great for the monk who is approaching lvl 40 and has started to worry about his H2H skill not being good enough because he was concentrating on 1HB.
Reminds me of the joke about the guy who called the girl a two-bit tramp.... she called him a liar and hit him upside the head with a bag full of nickels....
Even scarier,,,and more potent would be the sack full o' gnomes. you can either use it as a 2h blunt swinging the big bag or as a range attack.. This works by opening the bag of gnomes,,they all jump out and bite the ankles of the target. Hellish damage,,I think its a luclin quest item, not sure though.
