I just took one grp in we had a Rogue, Enchanter, 2 Clerics and a Warrior. The trick is to be smarter than the quest or the gnome for that matter. What we did was so that the Gnome wouldn't run away we would root him right before he aggroed mobs then we would kill the mobs and keep the gnome rooted. Then when we were ready to proceed we would mem blur the gnome. This quest is a piece of cake. It's just time consuming. It took us 2 1/2 hours to do.
This is flat out an awesome earring. And maybe the best thing about it is, you can sell it if you somehow getting a better ear item.

Anyone that can actually get this item without buying it for a twink should have over a 200 int, so it is worth 30 int points to them, over their max which they should be at or close to with KEI

i agree more monks should pursue int items, most ive met are a little...lacking.
you have to be next to retarded tho think that monks need int, only thing they would need it for is tradeskilling, and on that level its a hell of a lot easier to get wisdom, considering druids are leather classes, than intelligence.
Oh man some of you cant se sarcasm when its on a billboard in plain english can you... HE'S SAYING PEOPLE WHO PLAY MONKS ARE DUMB! do you play a monk? Maybe that's why you didn't get it. Oh and no sense bashing my own intelligence in retort, that would be juvenile and im an Ogre warrior at heart so yes I am quite dumb... yet somehow i got the sarcasm in that.
ok yes this earing is good. but for those of you that think that this is easy to get you might want to talk to someone that has done the event. its a very hard event and i havent seen it done with less than 3 very good groups.

Now it gets complictated when ya need like 8 of them for something else. And this is coming from someone on the new Kane Bayle server. And yes, they will come for an int caster item. Believe it or not
