Why the midgets gettin hated on??
# Apr 08 2003 at 4:30 PM Rating: Good
Ill give it to ya peeps not bad ac..but midgets already have dex and agi...we need STA and STR..this junk gives hp and mana but compared to the ogre cultural fulvous darkscale we got shafted
Heres a lil comparison...

Brellium: Total Pieces Shown
222ac 5sta 5wis 5agi 10dex 24wt 240hp/240mana

Fulvous:Same pieces compared
238ac 10str 35sta 10wis 5agi 10dex 21wt 405hp/135m

Anyone else notice a little difference??

Yes I would agree with you there 100%
Little or No stats.
The Bracers are the best item of them all.
Other than that, its Just AC.
Kinda like Cobalt armor.

The previous Dwarven Plate Cultural were great stats and AC for their level
i dont know why these were neglected.
Hope there will be a nice patch.

These were "neglected" as you say, because they are not imbued. These are the small-race equivilent of Fine Heraldic that humans make, a lot of AC and some hp/mana. Imbueing them gives + other stats, but also makes less people be able to use them.

If you're refering to the deity specific dwarven armor, it is Underfoot Plate. It is restricted to Brell worshipers only and the only difference is added wisdom, all of the other stats are identical to Brellium. Just clearing that up for those of you that may've been thinking the "imbued" armor had extra str/sta/agi/dex on it. The extra wisdom makes it more attractive to clerics and paladins but it still lacks melee friendly stats. In any case this is a very nice BP. Dunno if its just my server but finding a decent dropably plate-class BP is MUCH harder than finding a good chain class-only one. Tae ew chain (45ac nice stats) and night terror chain (40ac nice stats) both go for 6-9k povar but to get a equal or higher AC plate BP you have to drop nearly 20k. Any other servers have this problem or is povar just weird?

I expect you'll find this to be the case on all servers as plate armor usually costs 2-3 times as much to make (sometimes more). Take the Tae Ew sets. The chain tunic requires two vials of tae ew blood; everything else is storebought. By comparison the breastplate requires you to farm: 3 each froglok blood, iksar blood, sarnak blood, tae ew blood & 6 pristine tae ew scales (oh, and you'll also have to create a newbie iksar to buy some bloodwater in east cab). Chain also sometimes has a lower triv than plate, affording earlier attempts and fewer failures. The few extra ac on plate doesn't come cheap. :(

Any idea what one of these would go for in a best case scenario, taking into effect the new Bazaar economy?

Until someone posts a pic I can't confirm this, but there should be a recomended level of 45 on this armor, like all of the other equivelent cultural armors.
bard?
# Jul 23 2002 at 4:17 PM Rating: Default
would it be safe to assume these are bard usable too?
RE: bard?
# Jul 23 2002 at 4:57 PM Rating: Excellent
Bards can use the either the imbued or nonimbued versions elven or human plate. This is the short stuff version.

I think he's thinking because the armor says Half Elf, Bards should be able to use it. hehe, I think Half Elves should be able to be Clerics IMHO, they can after all be Druids... (I know, off subject)

The available classes for Half Elves are weird anyway, no Clerics but Paladins, Paladins but no Shadowknights *shrug*
#REDACTED, Posted: Jul 24 2002 at 12:29 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Half elfs can be bards.....
