i cant believe this drops off an iksar, but iksar cannot wear. This game is backwards so many times. frustrating!

wihtin the same zone a bard only weapon and SK only weapon drops off the same guy who is neither SK nor bard. don't expect this game to makes ense when it comes to drops. I mean, why would a spider in velks be wearing a ring?

It is the lazy way of saying that Iksar cannot wear it. Something about it being plate-like, no Jaundice bone items are wearable by Iksar (that I know of).

Health is a lvl 34 spell boosting stamina by around 30 points.

Many folks tell me that if STA is over 100, then you don't get tired in long melees with heavy weapons (even though the yellow bar goes down, you don't slow down). I have not witnessed this myself.

Being the master of lazy, I would have only put BAR TRL OGR as the race.

Except that it's easier to select "all", then unselect "iksar". Plus I'm sure their development tool has an option for "plate races" instead of manually selecting races.

however if their development tool has something like plate races then it must have at the very least have a large races button. which would of course satisfy this line of shammy wear. just a thought

Aren't barbarians and iksar the same size? I mean, can't both wear both medium and large armor (unlike ogres and trolls)?
RE: races
# Apr 29 2002 at 1:20 PM Rating: Decent
Barb shaman are large size only. At least as far as making armor. Banded (plz dont laugh at meh!) armor that is large is all that barbs can wear from the banded line, as far as I know. I.E.:Barbs cant wear small/medium banded.

Pardon me, but barbarians can most certainly wear medium sized armor. Barbarians are of the large races, but the smallest of them. How do I know? I've played a barbarian for over a year now and has worn banded (not large banded, the medium sized banded) through much of his teens and part of his 20's and to this day have been wearing medium and large sized armor of many different kinds (shaman allowable that is ;) ).

Yes, same experience here. Back before everyhting I wore was a MoB drop, I preferred medium armor because it weighs less.

Actually Barbs can wear medium-sized banded (as well as other armors, unless it has been recently changed?), which is much lighter than the large. It is a quick run to Qeynos Hills to get your medium sized molds.

All JB armour clickable effects start working at lvl 45

# May 07 2001 at 11:41 PM Rating: Good
The effect is the level 34 spell. I increases your stamina somewhere around 34 points. The item's effect is useable at level 45 when it needs to be equiped and right-clicked to use. Very useful way to give extra hp's to everyone in the group without using the 100 mana for the level 44 spell and only getting around 20 hitpoints more out of it.

Ok, I just got my Black Fur Boots (from Epic, right clickable SoW.) So far it seems these only cast SoW on me, but your post makes it sound like the Health spell on Greaves can be targeted...
My question is, can most effects be targeted like that? Can my boots be targeted somehow as well then? (Heck, if I can cast SoW with no cast time, no need to even stop and no mana, I'd be doing everyone everywhere I see.. Who cares if it isn't as high level as my own SoW, if it holds, it beats whetever they had and no skin off my back)

33/32 long story, but basically, don't do epic parts at 33 unless you are ready to loose it ten times like I have, not going past the boots for a while) Barbarian Shaman, Caanus Grey, master of all trades. E-Marr

I have my epic booties <mmm spam fun for all ages> and they are self only, just like the Jaundiced Bone BP, that is self only, yet gaunts, greaves, helm and vembraces (pieces I have) ARE targeted RCfx. Its odd, but whattyagonnado?

As an afterthought, you got your epic boots at 33? wow, grats to you! I didnt have the hairs to go thru the test of paitence till after I was mid 40's! Your one lucky shaman! Congrats!

MOST right click items can be targeted, but the sow spell cast by Black Fur Boots is self only, kinda like cannibalize, you can target, but you'll still only sow yourself.

Yeah, day after I posted this I handed off my Jaundiced to a 47th shaman to try casting it on me, and it worked. =)
Still would be nice if those boots could target others, but with SoL out now and our group SoW, who cares? I never use sow anymore.
#Anonymous, Posted: May 03 2001 at 1:08 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) THE EFFECT IS A LVL 34 SPELL OR EITHER 29. IT UP'S THE STA SCORE. +20 I THINK
