2 blazing hoppers, each dropping one talisman. all in about 30 minutes of fighting at the hopper cave in DSP. this took place on al'kabor... just an fyi for you mac ppeps out there. )
This talisman is NOT common. I have just spent a few days and a total of around 25 hours camping the Hoppers.

For a dropped item, the commonness is more a measurement of how often the listed creature drops it than how often the creature itself can be found. That said, it's a pretty subjective scale, so we're always happy to get player input on how common or rare a particular drop may be.

The Blazing Hopper has popped 3 times on me at the cave withing 2.5 hours. Each time he dropped the Talisman of Burning Earth. So Rare mob, I would say not.
