wis for int users

dont knock it when you go for skill practice wisdom comes in handy lower failures on certain skills and int for palies makes skills go up faster that is what the wisdom is for on the pants of SKs and int for palies common sense think before you speak and learn the game

Wrong, its whatever is higher that affects skills. So if your a INT caster, INT affects skill raises. WIS caster, wis affects skill raises. If you are a Necromancer, wisdom has nothing to do with anything lol.

Int is the base % to get the skill right and raise skill-exp per "chance". Such as smithing or casting skills.

Wisdom help lessing the chance to get the skill wrong... but not by much. In other words the higher your wisdom the lower your Crap out rate is. Less your failer rate is...

Higher Int is much better then wisdom...in loo of this. Its better to have a greater % to get it right... then a smaller crap out rate.

Like a troll 52int... has a pathicly small base % number ver a caster with 180int base %.

The differance is huge.

so something like a High elf would be a great smith so long as he had eight 100% weight reduction packs. Heheh...

so in other words your wrong about wisdom not mattering

When doing tradeskills, NONE of the stats matter, as far as your chance of successfully making the combine.

There are only two things that affect your success rate:
1) your current skill level
2) skill modifying devices, like a geerlok.

THAT is it. you could be suffering from rez effects, and have no gear on at all, with wis/int at 35 each, and your chance of SUCCESS MAKING THE ITEM is the same.

For skillups, it is the higher of wis/int that matters. Also, some tradeskills have one additional stat. For smithing, it is strength. so, in the case of smithing, the highest of str/wis/int, determines your chance of skillup.

So, essentially, unless an int caster had higher wis, by some bizzare chance (guess its possible, the way sony designs items), wis would not help tradeskills.

chanter with 255 int, 75 wis, will have the exact same chance of both a success (assuming same modified skill level), and a skillup, as a chanter with 255 int, 255 wis.

Totally and completely wrong.
Stats
# Apr 24 2001 at 1:47 AM Rating: Default
All the armour for each class will have stats that are not "right" for the class. You'll find that most class armours will have a higher total of stats need for that class but will also have stats that are useless for that class also. I don't see a problem with it I just want my full suit.

New Iksar Armor in PoF
# Mar 19 2001 at 3:30 PM Rating: Default
We found a new armor for Iksar Shadowknights in PoF. It drops off of Nightmares. I guess this is because they cant wear Umbral. Too bad we dont have any IKS/SHD.

I believe the pally legs have the same bonus, except it's +int, and they wonder the same thing. Keep in mind these are the same guys that make the best most easily attainable breastplate for the AC and stats, look like leather, so anytime you wear, it, you look like a lvl 5 newbie. Verant just has a sick sense of humor.
